When did we all go blind?

Has the human race as a whole

simply lost their fuckin mind?

Perhaps its time to put our

fuckin phones down

take look around

Realize and acknowledge the reality

of what is going down

It’s time to rub the sleep out your eyes and take a blink

Have we all become to lazy to think

Are we the band that keeps on playing

While the fuckin ship is sinking?

Do we as a society really miss the scheme

Or have Netflix, You Tube, and Amazon

Become what we believe in

I mean we’ve always known that money

Is what makes the world go round

But if we don’t draw a line in the sand somewhere

The human race is goin down

When is enough enough for them

If a trillion ain’t sufficient

Then it’s obvious they’ll never stop

I mean it IS OBVIOUS isn’t it?

Is seems that our “Democracy”

Has wandered down the path

That communism took when

The “ideal” part was trashed

Cause when the war on terror

Didn’t do what it was meant to do

& constantly changing technologies

failed to envelop and subdue.

When we STILL kept on assembling

& trying to fight to change the rules

The powers that be went back to basics

And BAM here comes a brand new flu

that acts exactly how they need it to

and they can control every single thing we do

they say when and where we go

and say is only to protect you.

Now this may sound like paranoia

So lets take a step back

and examine a different perspective

And interpret simple fact

Cause within a week of the first time

I ever heard of Covid 19

Every school in Manitoba closed

And what they issued was a plea

There were no public health ORDERS

Or threats, arrests or fines

They actually had it right at first

Until we gave them time

To overcomplicate, politicize, and organize the shit

To ensure the ones that pull their strings

would see the greatest benefit.

Cause while we all were isolated

Imprisoned by the fears you see,

The banks posted their most

PROFITABLE YEAR IN HISTORY!!

Now if that is not enough to leave you

VOMITING with rage

Think about the future.

Or the the past,

it doesn’t matter which way you turn the page.

Cause once you see that first real truth

you start to see the others

it really can become too much

to take it chokes and smothers.

We were the kings of Covid

The best record in the land

For the most part things were as positive

As we simply dealt with the task at hand

Families reconnected, and we learned to work from home

The government handed out money to the people for once

Instead of corporate clones

But eventually the pressure

to reopen became too much

So they sent the kiddies back to school

Without a single fuck

To give cause what they really need

Is the kids at school & us at work so that we all can feed

The industries that quickly realized that they’d be proper fucked

if we were given the time to figure out that, for once, WE’D be better off.

Think about the industries that would be up the creek

If everyone that could, worked from home for even half the week.

If you really need it dumbed right down, I’ll plainly simplify

A business like Tim Hortons would shrivel up and die.

Think about it, $6/day I bet you spent at least

Now add in gas, all purpose insurance, & all the other things

Imagine vacant office buildings, or imagine what if they

Figured out that some of us were smart enough to say

Hey since you’re saving all this money not paying for a place

Perhaps, we should have a chat about how much we’re paid

I know the automotive industry is glad we’re going back

I mean shit if we all worked form home imagine how long your car would last?

How much more time it would be until your next oil change

Or the money you would save, not stopping somewhere on your way home

All those times you didn’t REALLY even need anything.

SO let’s spend millions of dollars coming up with a plan

We’ll keep the Walmart open while we choke out the small business man.

Because having EVERYBODY now have to all go to one place, makes perfect

Sense in a pandemic where we should be trying not to share space

“No Vaccine, No Problem”

We need the kids in school

It’s for them, to help them socially

Yeah right ya buncha tools

Kids these days already communicate online

Shit I have to text my kid to get her attention half the time

Even when the vaccines finally came out

The numbers kept on rising

I can’t believe they haven’t figured out

It’s doesn’t matter what you close

Or what you try for barriers

Cause you insist on keeping the kids in school

AND THEY ARE THE FUCKIN CARRIERS

I guess the fact that things worked so damn good In the beginning

Meant these idiots that run the show

Had to write a different ending

But this is only the latest and most blatant example

Of the clusterfuck created by the idiots we’ve gambled on

Every 4 years we spend a billion dollars just to see

If we pick blue or red

It’s like trying to choose your favorite STD

Now maybe I’m too simple, but it seems to me

That with all this technology, there must be

a way to vote online that would securely

Elect a Prime Minister, a Premier or A Mayor

But why should they have four years

To me that isn’t fair

See I’ve got this idea that would stir up quite the fuss

I think it’s time to remind the government that

THEY actually work for US

So I propose that we elect whomever we wish to lead

And WE then elect OUR cabinet regardless of their “Party”

Instead WE pick who WE believe is the best for the job.

And forget this 4 year term shit cause the next part of my plot

Is that each candidate has a webpage where everything they do is presented and communicated

THEN VOTED ON BY ME AND YOU!!!!!

Next to each elected persons picture there will be a rating

A Confidence Percentage based on whose loving and who’s hating.

THEN those motherfuckers would be working hard for you

Cause if that percentage gets to 50% then guess what it is time to do

We throw up 3 or four more people who think they want the job

& the choice is made who’s in without having to spend a million dollars

It’s time to go back to basics

No more caving to banks, corporations, or steeples

It’s time to finally do what’s right

For US, YOUR BOSS, THE PEOPLE
