I Tried AI Dating Apps—This is What Happened

Online dating has come a long way since its early days in the 2000s, with awkward chat rooms giving way to swiping left and right on Tinder. But today, there's something new in the game: AI dating apps.

By utilizing artificial intelligence to locate your ideal match, these dating apps claim to eliminate the guesswork that comes with dating. They purport to examine your personality, interests, and even the way you text in order to match you with someone you'll actually get along with.

It all sounded too interesting, so I gave it a shot. For 30 days, I turned over my love life to AI. Here's what went down.

Week 1: Setting Up My AI Dating Profile

It was simple to sign up but quite unlike a typical dating app. Rather than simply uploading pictures and completing a brief bio, I had to:
