"I play a lot"

Let me tell you what inspired me to write this piece.

As a writer, you can be inspired by anything. Sometimes, the rustling air will remind you of the wonders of the Creator. Even the blazing sun can also expose mysteries to you.

Inspiration can also come when you're alone, ruminating about the space and the things beneath.

Today, I was inspired to put to pen a title, "I play a lot."

Though, i was forced to enter into a conversation with a neighbour who plays a lot. He's always lively, reacting to our actions in a playful way. Even when he wants to advice us, he would be cracking funny jokes to make us happy.

The whole compound know him as a playful man. So, we don't tag him as strict person - that enables us to access him anytime we want help from him.

Let me briefly talk about him. He's a neurologist and dedicated Christian who abides with the norms of the scripture.

Today, while going to school, the man called me to unveil some clandestine issues of life. At first he excused me jokingly, but was forced to listen him because of words that were weighed with wisdom.

He asked, "My dear friend, do you know that I play a lot? Yes! I play a lot. If you want to know the motive behind it, come back in the following day.

You know I talk a lot, if you don't know the secret behind, you can call me loquacious. Let me stop so that you'll not join them to call me such names."

I was touched as he was talking in low pitch voice to expose deep mysteries of life. The man continued with the discussion by asking some critical questions that a bachelor like me would find it difficult to proffer answer.

"Emma, let me say it again, I play a lot. Playing suppresses my wrong thoughts; how to pay my children school fees, how to complete my house rent, how to escape from depression, how to get that job, how to overcome the fear of the unknown, how to resolve issues skillfully without resorting to war and how to live a fulfilled life run from my mind always." The man pointed.

See the reason why I write this piece.

There are different types of persons in the world. You'll not know who is facing quagmires of life and their escape route. As our countenances differ, so issues and reactions.

Many people are reacting anyhow because of the circumstances they found themselves. Some persons are used to singing in order to console, while others play a lot to make them fit for the day.

I've learnt tangible lesson from the neighbour who used to play. Play is a sign of excitement showing by reaction, talk and how the person relates. Some can be always reading, singing, walking, talking - just to escape from the bondage of depression and other negative issues of life.

Now, I've seen the reason why the man plays a lot. Indeed, it's helpful because I've not seen that man sad since he visited us. If he didn't tell me, I would've not known the motive behind his reaction.

Just do what's good for you in order to forget your sorrow and distress. It's possible to adopt a pattern that'll make you to overcome the burden of life.

Wait! Do what's good not the obverse.

Let me force the bleeding ink to stop because I play a lot with my pen.
