How to Write a Love Letter
Do you enjoy writing letters?
What could be more romantic than finding a love letter in the mailbox?
An old-fashioned, handwritten letter can be one of the most inspiring gestures to prove your love. bright computer screen; even if it loses some of the scents of authenticity, a love letter sent over the internet or an email can still represent us brilliantly in front of the court-martial of the loved one…
You don't have to be a Shakespeare or a Goethe to compose an almost perfect love letter. All you need is to sincerely express how you feel. You need to show your loved ones how much you know about them, and that knowledge is the very essence of love.
Even if you are going to send the love letter via the internet, I still recommend you to compose it in the classic style, on a piece of paper. Anyway, first you will have to write a draft.
If you decide to send a letter handwritten, which gives the advantage of personalization, it would be advisable to transcribe it on a sheet of quality paper, a little more out of the ordinary, possibly adorned on the edges with hearts or cupids.
Everything you write should be as personalized as possible so that it represents you in its entirety. to the loved one in the second person singular (use “you”), so that the letter gives the impression of direct communication with him/her.
Before you start writing, take some time to think about your loved one. The following questions can help you gather and focus your thoughts:
- What is his / her strength?
- What quality do you see in the loved one that she is not aware of?
- What is the most romantic thing she/he has done for you?
- What does he/she usually do so that he/she looks like you?
- When did you fall in love with her/him?
- What pleasantly surprised you about her / his way of being?
- What is the best memory of you two?
- How has your perception of the world changed since you were together?
You can start the letter in any way you like as long as you include his / her name. Try to use a phrase that evokes exclusivity or uniqueness, for example, "I've never met someone as big as you" or "No one made me feel like you did when you did."
In this way, you prove to your loved one that she is, in your eyes, superior to anyone else, a very timely way to make an introduction to a love letter.
As you write, try to convey exactly what you feel. Use concrete examples to show them how much she/he means to you. Remind them of the things she/she has done that are really important to them.
It is a favorite memory or a hope for the future. Don't forget to confess "I love you". It doesn't matter how long or short the letter is as long as it is sincere.
Once your love letter is completed, reread it carefully and eliminate grammatical or expressive errors. These errors destroy its charm.
You can also add some love quotes. Be careful, not too much. Use your instinct, and if you are not sure how many quotes you should put, choose the most beautiful one and put it at the end.
