Goal Setting and achieving goals might be the traditional way, but even now it works. Think about the last year…Do you have a goal for that year?

If not then you can't even say one great thing you have achieved in that year.

Before deciding to set your goal you have to check the factors.

1. A goal defines your purpose

“Your purpose in life defines you!”

When you do not have any purpose or when you are not clear about what you want in life. Then you can’t stick to your goal.

A goal you set this year or this month is a part of your successful life.

Set a realistic goal: The goal is something that is realistic. It must be connected to you. It must give you fulfillment when you achieve it.

Feel connected to your goal: Some people think that goal should be a high-five thing but actually, the goal is something that you feel personally connected to or something you enjoy when you have achieved it.

If person A has some grand goal you don't want to have the same.

The purpose of the goal is to improve your standard of living and attain fulfillment and joy.

2. Don't make your goal complicated

Plan like you gonna do it!

If it is too easy to do then you procrastinate.

If it is too hard you will leave it before it is Halfway.

Understanding this makes you set a more practical goal. A doable goal is what you have to set. You can start noticing improvement when you work towards your goal.

You do get small wins which automatically improve your self-esteem.

3. Long-term promise

Never make a fake promise!

When you promise your girlfriend or boyfriend that you will be on time for dating. You never gonna delay and make them a fake promise.

SMALL commitment when you make and do it without any excuses. That's how goal also works. You have to feel committed to your goal.

Everyday promise: Act according to your goal you have to work on every day to keep that promise to yourself.

  • It's not your resolution. You set it and forget! that kind of goal definitely won’t gonna help you.
  • Even if you are in an extremely tired Or hectic day every day you have to push yourself to achieve that goal it feels hard right?

A promise is a promise. No excuses! Take small breaks but don't forget your goal.

When you check down all these factors of goal setting then automatically you start working towards your goal. But remember setting goals is important as taking action.

3 simple actions to motivate yourself to achieve your goals

1. Inner motivation works the best

The fire within you should keep on burning!

Whenever you watch a person get successful or listen to any motivational speech you automatically see to get motivated and work towards your goal.

The external push that you get as you work towards your goal is never gonna keep you motivated always. When you think of your goal you should act automatically.

When you have a true purpose and when your goal is so true for your life purpose or something that you feel that you have to do to find the purpose of your life.

Having a clear vision of what you gonna do after 5 years or 10 years makes you motivated from the inside.

2. Vision Board

A Virtual reminder is the best.

Gather the pictures that represent your goal. Draw it or search from Pinterest and stick it down on a board. Place it where you spend your most time.

Remember, The pictures you choose

  • Represent your goal
  • Connected to you
  • Vibration is more important: What you feel is what the universe understands. Make sure to feel like you got this feeling when you see those pictures.

3. Goal Tracker

Track- You are in progress- Motivates you!

After days and months, the vision board seems faded to your conscious mind. Then you can create a new vision board.

But the thing is, You need to know how well you process.

So write down your goal tracker from day one. The new year doesn't have to be day 1.

Anytime when your intention says to set goals and improve yourself in your career. Plan it immediately.

What's the one thing that you have done today to move one step towards your goal?

Ask this question daily to yourself and write down in your tracker what you have done.

You are making progress makes you feel motivated.
