How I Got My Strange Stage Name - Brain Jotter

One thing about Nigerian comedians is that a number of them have very interesting and funny names. From the likes of Basket Mouth to Romeo Without Juliet, there is no shortage of very funny names in the Nigerian entertainment industry. One such peculiar name is the name of popular Nigerian content creator Brain Jotter.

Legally named Chukwuebuka Emmanuel, the comedian and content creator picked the unique name "Brain Jotter" as his stage name and people have always been very curious about the choice of name because by themselves, the words 'brain' and 'jotter' are not words that people associate together. Well, now during a new interview with Ghanain radio station, Hitz 103.9FM, Brain Jotter is explaining once and for all how he got the very unique name. Here is what Brain Jotter had to say about how he got his very unique stage name.

During his interview, Brain Jotter was asked how he choose the name Brain Jotter, to which he responded saying:

BRAIN JOTTER: Do we have that time because it's like a very long story. In summary, I think I just chose it. So um, I was going for a comedy show and then I needed a stage name and my brother just suggested it to me, that I should choose brain jotter. He has this joke where he has a very long name, so if he wants to talk to a lady, he'll be like "ah my name is long oh, bring jotter", you get me. So, when he was telling me the gist like "I been tell the girl to bring jotter", me I heard brain jotter. And it was just funny then, I was just laughing. So, because I was going for a show then, I was like that brain jotter go sweet o, and that's how I just picked it up. The good thing is the name has been making sense for me.
