How I Feel about "Ozumba Mbadiwe" Song - Ocee (Mbadiwe Twins)
Ocee shares his feelings on popular song

When this year's season of Big Brother started and we were introduced to the Mbadiwe twins, the first thing that came to many people's minds immediately upon hearing their name was the Reekado Banks' song "Ozumba Mbadiwe". That song is wildly popular, and as people who bear the name, many people have been curious how the Mbadiwe Twins feel about that song.
Well, now during a new interview with Zikoko, Ocee of the Mbadiwe Twins is finally opening up about how he feels about that song, and how the song affected his entire family. Here's what Ocee had to say.

Speaking about the song "Ozumba Mbadiwe" by Reekado Banks and how he feels about it, Ocee said:
OCEE: When that song ["Ozumba Mbadiwe" by Reekado Banks] first came out, I was getting tagged on Snapchat, Instagram. Everytime the song was playing, somebody I know would tag me in there. It was amazing. Me and my brother even did a small video with Reekado Banks. The song brought us closer as well. It kind of became a theme song for me, my brothers, and my family members as well. My dad was gassed when he heard the song. He was like these are signs from God, how can somebody just come and give us this kind of free promotion, we didn't even ask for it. He doesn't believe in co-incidences, he believes in things occur the way they're supposed to occur.
Ozumba Mbadiwe is my grand dad. My brother, Ozee, a lot of people don't know that Ozee too stands for Ozumba. So my brother was named after my grand dad. So we are just here trying to carry on his legacy. In my family, legacy is very important. Doing things that we leave a name long after you've gone. My grand dad died in 1990, people are still mentioning his name today. People sing songs mentioning his name. So, to us, wealth is legacy, it's not financial. That's why me and my brother try to carry ourselves the way we do, to maintain that kind of pedigree.
So, shoutout to Reekado Banks and shoutout to that song. It has followed me and my brother ever since.
It must really be something to have an artiste write a song with your surname and it become a global smash. What do you think about what Ocee had to say?
