How I Dealt With My Jealousy of Ozo After He Won Innoson Car - Neo
Neo talks friendship and jealousy

Nigerian reality TV star and actor Neo Akpofure is talking abut friendship during a new conversation he had with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Rubbin Minds. During the segment, Neo opened up about being friends with people who have different ideologies than him, dealing with friendships on social media, and navigating jealousy in friendships. Here's what he said.

During the show, Ebuka asked Neo: "Is it possible to be friends with someone who believes in certain things that you find a little questionable? Maybe they are good people but he has very weird ideologies but he's a good guy. Are friendships like that possible?" Neo responded:
Yet it is 100% possible if you ask me it is 100% possible. I want to be friends with someone who I can look at, learn from good or bad, gain something from if it's an idea or if it's your way of thinking or your way of life. Even if it's not mine because worst case scenario he cannot be the only person who believes that and one day you might find yourself in a situation where you want to shine a light or talk about something that has to do with that particular character and the fact that you are so conversant with that kind of person already, you know what to say.
"If a famous friend does something on social media and people are saying "ah Neo you're not saying anything about this", would you join in the dragging?"
In situations like that because everybody wants to believe social media is like a real world, you have to say something on there to mean something but the truth of the matter is I'm very concerned about what real life says. I'm very concerned about what your character speaks to me when I sit down and I have a conversation with you. But in a situation whereby it's happening on there and I'm aware of something that you do and I've told you not to keep doing it and I can see that social media is now on it, I don't think I will jump into it because I feel like overtime I would have had times when I would have sat down with you and told you don't do this. So I feel like what I would rather say on social media, I must have said that overtime so there's no need
"Do you think competition builds or breaks friendships? How do you handle when you're jealous of a friend?"
I tell the friend because I feel like you can be very expressive and be true. It helps. I tell you "oh guy I for like that thing". Let me just bring this back, when I was on the reality TV show [Big Brother Naija], I and a very good friend of mine Ozo, we were competing for this car. It was the two of us for this car and he won. I go meet am say "guy I want that car" [laughs]. But today I dey drive that car. There is joy in it. So that's the thing, just be honest and open.
