The next leg of the Journey is about to begin. Van is booked and already had 3 donations come in. Heading out Saturday to meet a friend...
His name is Chris, and he runs a 501c3 nonprofit named H.O.P.E. Which stands for: Housing Our People EVERYWHERE. Having experienced exctended homelessness for almost a year now-after an illegal eviction as a result of advocating for my mental health needs, no less- his organization and mission spoke directly to my heart(because you can’t have Home without a heart right?).
We met via another valuable social networking tool called Clubhouse. I knew the first time I heard him speak that he was doing something not only ‘necessary’ but ‘Beatiful’ and that-whatever it took- I HAD to meet him and support however I could. (Fun fact Bali means “the Offering”)

During that first room a couple of weeks ago, I had no idea how I’d make it happen... I’ve had no income since 11/19 after leaving my last underpaid, Soul-crushing position as a tire technician and a well known tire company in Portland Maine. It’s been quite the journey since then, and it’s been far from easy.
But more importantly, it’s been the most powerful phase of character development and spiritual growth in my Story thus far.(I’ll be sharing more of those stories soon, stay tuned...) My 3rd stimulus check ‘finally’ came in a couple days ago, and I felt compelled to invest it into bringing Chris and I’s shared goal of ending the homeless crisis by making the now imminent trip from Maine to Illinois...
Back to the present(because every breath ‘is’ a gift😉)... I’m sitting on the front steps of my parents house, listening to a Clubhouse room titled “Manifesting Your Dreams” in ‘The Hustler’s Club’ while I type my dreams into a phone screen and plant seeds to fund bringing said dreams into the manifest realm in the not-too-distant future..
Already during tonight’s group, I’ve had 3 amazing Human(e) beings from the room donate almost $100 towards gas for the trip! Earlier last night, I booked a rental van for 5/15-6/5. Over the course of this first 2-week pilgrimage, I’ll be helping with repairs on the home of a single mother-which was damaged by a fire just a couple days ago- and setting the foundation for upcoming projects by getting applications in for grants.
Where the next waypoint on the journey will be, I don’t know...yet. However, much like this trip, I’m confident that if I continue to follow my heart, and work with what I have to be of service to others, that what I need will come to me.
It’s now 1:33, and I need to sleep because I have quite a bit to do to finish preparing for the trip, including renewing my EBT/food stamps and picking up my Dewalt tool kit, which has sat-patiently waiting to be put to work in service of others in my sisters basement for the last year.
This page is over... but OUR-story is only beginning...Thank You for the part you’ve already played in it by investing your precious time and attention in reading what’s recorded here. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to take a more active role in scenes to be recorded on future pages and places.
Much Love and Many Blessings Always
