First Date

Missy awoke early one morning and was surfing her social media and she noticed a message from someone she had not seen in years. The message said, “What a beautiful smile. I had the biggest crush on you in high school. I would love to take you out sometime.” Missy read the message over and over that day. Missy was in a bad place right now. She is married and been living in a very unloving relationship for years. Missy decided to write Robert back and say hi. She seen no problem with talking to an old friend she had not spoken with in the many years since high school. “Hi Robert, I am many miles from you now in Texas. I am no longer there as of now; I am also married. I have been here almost 20 years now. How have you been? It has been a long time since seeing or speaking with you.”

Missy and Robert began talking and they kept talking all days and nights for the longest time. They were feeling some crazy feelings for each other and falling for each other crazy fast. At one point Robert stopped talking to Missy and it made her sad as she had grown so close to him in such a short time. She wanted to know why but knew her situation was not the best for falling in love to begin with. Robert had been divorced almost three years or so and was through the hard part of that. Missy was still in the phase of wondering if divorce was the right thing for her. Deep down she knew she was living in a dead marriage and that she had to do something anyway regardless of her feelings for Robert.

Robert came back in the picture a short time later and they decided they are madly in love with each other already. They can’t be apart, and they need to see each other, and they want to start their journey of being together. However, there is the small detail that Missy is still attached and has two kids with her husband.

Missy planned a trip to go back to her old high school hometown. It had been a long time since she had been back that way and they went outside to a different little town where no one would know them. They met and got the biggest hug and kiss from each other. It had been a long time of talking and needing to see each other.

Robert was the perfect gentlemen. He was the most amazing man Missy had ever laid eyes on. She had dreamed of love her entire life, but it seemed that Robert had far out shined even her best daydream of love. They just clicked with each other. They just were in sync on everything, and his sweet personality had her swooning over him. She liked the way his eyes sparkled as they sat across from each other in the small diner. His eyes were like the lights of his soul. They seemed to pierce directly into the deepest part of her. Like they could see directly into her own soul. She could see the depth of love that flooded his deep hazel eyes. His beard was cut artistically and different from any she had ever seen. The red complimented his hazel eyes so well. They sat and caught up on life and drank a glass of sweet Merlot.

After they were done with dining, they went back to their room they had secured for the evening. Missy felt like she was walking on air. This date had been the best she had ever experienced already. Robert was the most amazing man she had ever converted with. He had her feeling feelings she had never felt in her entire life. She knew with out a doubt she had met her soul mate the one she could love for eternity. There were no doubts, no wonderings. She felt this amazing living water running through her veins. She felt alive again, whole again, and completely in love. This was by far the best date she had ever had in her life. Robert made her feel respected, loved and like the only woman that ever existed on this planet. He seen only her and she seen only him. This was the most perfect love, the most perfect relationship the most perfect gift that Missy had ever received in her lifetime.

This was the best first date ever, and if the rest of their days were even half as beautiful as this first date, they were going to have a beautiful life together. Just as soon as Missy gets her divorce proceedings started, she will be going home to live this beautiful life with Robert. This is her happily ever after and her fairy tale come true. Her prince finally came to rescue her and she is the happiest princess in the entire living universe.
