Everlasting love

Destiny beckons

By Sherry jacksonPublished 3 years ago 4 min read

This feeling was literally like floating on a that iver took me cloud when ever I thought of him.

I went for my morning jog and suddenly it started to rain then this overwhelming feeling of gratitude filled my heart!

I have found him. My true love for all eternity! All the grey clouds in the sky seem to be celebrating with me throwing down big drops of joyous rain .

It was planned, not by me, but fate !

A friend of mine persuaded me to go to a dance given by her a non profit organization that she was a participating member.

I went shopping to find a gown to wear and with her help I found a lovely flowing chiffon powder blue gown that matched perfectly with my blue eyes. I even got satin blue slipper to match.

I felt a little bit like Cinderella not know that my prince was actually going to be there.

As soon as I walked into the elegant ballroom. I saw him with a group of people laughing and talking. When he turned and saw me I could see the approval in his eyes yet he kept his conversation with his group going while his eyes followed me.

My whole being gravitated toward him.

My spiritual self went to him and I felt our souls merging.

My girlfriend brought me out the trance by Calking my name and giving me s glass of champagne.

The evening went well but whenever our eyes met I couldn’t turn away and he held them captured.

I didn’t want to leave just being near him was giving me such a comforting feeling and when I glanced back as I was walking out the door I saw the same look in his eyes.

When I got home and dressed for bed I kept wondering to myself, who was he? Would I ever see him again ?

Months went by but his warm tender vibrations never left me snd he could feel his presence each night and my dreams were filled with his face and him holding me.

One Sat I decided to go alone to a classic car show. The old classy car we’re driving by in the paresis with rot groovy music blasting and to my shock I saw him standing across the street watching the

It was as if time stood still. Maybe I knew him from that time period in some other life.

When he saw me with him eyes locked with mine he came boldly across the street between passing cars and stood next to me.

We both watched the parade together in silence.

Then he said, not turning to look at me, “I was afraid I would never see you again but - he turned snd looked me in the eyes—I knew when I saw you that you were my destiny and fate would find a way for us to be together again. He smiled as his face turned to mine.

Then he gently took my hand in his and I was surprised and pleased how it fit perfectly into his.

Afterwards he asked me to go for a ride with him. I sad yes and we both laughed.

I climbed into his 1955 classic car and first we drove to get hamburgers.

It was a refreshing long ride by the ocean with the top down.

He parked the car at the top of a hill and the view was spectacular of the beautiful blue ocean filled with colorful sail boats .

He put his arms around me and I didn’t resist and his lips found mine.

I had never been kissed like that before and I felt like the very essence of him totally consumed me and I knew from that kiss that he had made me his woman

I knew I didn’t need anyone else but him for the rest of my life.

When he looked in my eyes I could see he felt the same way also.

We were never apart since that day and even when we were not physically together our heart were bound and I felt his presence caring presence around me.

He proposed one night at the only drive in movie in town at intermission.

The big diamond ring was in the pop corn and luckily I didn’t swallow it!

We laughed and celebrated by tapping our soda pops together and sealing it with a long and passionate kiss.

Our wedding was at city hall with a few friends and family!

I wore a short white dress with fluffy full skirt like the 50’s red roses and

red heels.

He wore a red vest and teal blue suite.

We drove away in convertible sports car to our honeymoon in Monterey by the seashore at an old Victorian Inn.

That night with a full moon glowing, hanging among thousand of stars, we stood holding hands looking at the ocean with white edged waves lapping the shore,.

I knew in my hearts that I had found my eternal mate and that time or space would never keep us apart for he was my destiny.
