Dystopia Under Dictatorship
A New Age Is Dawning In The US
We are living in unprecedented times. The country has been living under an oppressive dictator who only had regard and consideration for himself and his success. This has led to a dystopian nightmare for the citizens struggling to survive. Many have struggled to obtain basic needs and luxuries are a far-off dream. There has been much suffering across the United States. Fortunately, as we enter the final stretch of inauguration day and a new administration, a radical transformation is starting.
For the first time in four years, there is hope in the nation for a better tomorrow. Even before he has office, the incoming president has breathed new life into the weary citizens and raised their spirits from the dark place they have been in the last 4 years. People have been going about their daily lives with a lighter perspective. They feel comfortable expressing themselves freely, stating their opinions, and standing up for what they truly believe. We have been watching the restoration of a country founded on the principles of liberty, prosperity, and unity.
“He that would make his own liberty secure, must guard even his enemy from oppression; for if he violates this duty, he establishes a precedent that will reach to himself.” Thomas Paine
As we prepare to embark upon this journey ahead the next four years, we should never forget what can happen when a tyrannical dictator is allowed to assume the highest office. Citizens should learn from the last four years and study the events and mistakes which occurred to pitch the country into a socialist regime. No one should believe it cannot happen again. If the American people become negligent in their protection of the freedoms and safety of the country. We can never become lazy in our defense of what the founder fought and died to create. For their sacrifice, we should always do our best to preserve independence and never take it for granted.
“Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.” John F. Kennedy
If nothing else positive comes out of the misery of the last four years, it is realizing what can happen when the citizens fail to protect their hard-fought liberty and freedom. Many would never have believed things could get so dire without having lived through it. They had to have the experience to have their eyes opened in a harsh way to see the truth.
As we embark upon a new era in America, it’s difficult to look back on the last four years and not feel sad for all the suffering and struggle the citizens have endured at the hands of this tyrannical, oppressive regime. Perhaps citizens would unite to move forward and escape this dark period; however, some did not suffer enough, and their votes show they want to continue struggling. Some voted not for change, but instead to continue down the same path. They voted to keep the socialist regime in place and allow them to continue to torture the people they have sworn to protect and serve. I guess no amount of torture will make some abandon their cruel, oppressive masters.
That’s all for now, I’m just here trying to change the world one story at a time!
