Don't cut trees in winter

A young man used to cut down dead trees in the woods in winter for firewood. When spring came, he was surprised to find that all the dead trees he had cut down had sprouted green shoots. Then an old man said to him, "Remember, don't cut down trees in winter, because then you won't see life, and don't make decisions when you're depressed, because then you won't see the light of life."

When you are depressed or disillusioned, do not make any major decisions, because that bad state of mind will make your judgment wrong.

When a person is mentally distressed and disappointed, the steps he takes are mostly focused on immediate relief, without regard to the final outcome of good or bad. An example of this is the tendency of women to downgrade when they experience intense disappointment or pain and decide to marry men they don't love.

Of course, in a situation where hope has been lost and the situation is very bleak, it is very difficult for a person to remain optimistic and make good use of his or her reason, but only in such circumstances can we show what kind of person we really are. A reliable way to test a person's true talent and strength is to see if he can persist in his long-cherished wish and ambition when his career is failing, his fate is difficult, and even his close friends and relatives are advising him to let go and laughing at him for not understanding the times.

Others gave up, but he still persisted; others retreated, but he still moved forward; there was no light and hope in front of him, but he still struggled hard. This spirit is the root of the success of all scientists, inventors and other outstanding people.

I often hear some middle-aged people sigh like this: "If I could have been firm and consistent, and did not give up the work I was doing when I was frustrated, I am afraid I would have been very successful now. My life, too, would be much happier!"

No matter how bleak your future, how heavy your heart, you have to wait until the melancholy, depressed mood dissipated, and then decide your approach or steps. When you are in a bad state of mind, no matter how heavy your burden is, you must not give in.

To make important decisions, you must use your reason, your sound judgment, and your sound observation. The turning point in your life and career should be chosen when you are at peace and in good spirits. When disillusionment and disappointment fill our hearts, it is easy to make mistakes in our judgment. Therefore, thoughts when you are in a bad mood should never be carried out as they are.
