I am 31 years old and I have 2 beautiful little boys; they are 4 & 5 years old (11 months apart). I am from the west side of Detroit, Michigan (7 Mile all day) but was born in North Carolina. I’ve lived in so many places in my 31 years, and that started when I was a child. My mom moved so much that I went to over 10 schools before graduating high school, and moving around continued into my adulthood. So much so that a few people in my family call me a gypsy; which I don’t necessarily disagree with. I have lived in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida.... Oh yea, even North Carolina. There’s no telling where I'll move to next! I have experienced so much in my life, and early, so I have always known that I would share my story.
You will know things about me my own family doesn’t know, and my best friend would be surprised about. Im going to share it anyway! It’s my story and i’m going to tell it MY WAY. If you don’t like it, Oh WELL!
Let me start off by telling you just a little bit about my childhood.
My parents were stationed in North Carolina. I don't think they were married yet, but they may have been...
They weren't in North Carolina long, moving back to Detroit before I was 1. This is where both of them had grown up, and where their immediate family was. We moved into a very nice and cozy 3 bedroom ranch (basement included) almost immediately moving to Detroit. The house was brick and there was a nice backyard & front porch. The bedrooms were a decent size, and there were 1 and a half bathrooms. In the late 80’s, this was an exceptional starter home for 2 young black newly wedded parents. I absolutely still love that house, and every time i'm in the city, I have to ride past it. I get emotional just thinking about my first home. It was kind of a wedding gift from my great-grandmother to my parents and a treasured memory in my heart. It was located right off of 8 Mile and Lahser and the neighborhood was nice too!
By the time I was 7, my mom was on her third girl. Although I would have loved to have a really good sisterhood with them and be their best friends, it never happened for us. Still ‘till today, my sisters and I have no bond. I know that there were things that I did that caused conflict, but nothing compared to what my sisters have done… but of course, that’s just my opinion. I am going to introduce you to a few people that are significant to my life, and I will tell you stories that actually happened to me. Well, they happened… and I was involved. This is my perception of these stories, and others may have different views, and that’s ok. I can only speak for me, and I will be as accurate as possible with the information that I have. So I hope you enjoy my story as much as I've enjoyed living it.

2019 was one helluva year!!
I went through all kinds of craziness...from the very beginning to the very end. It started off good, as I was exploring a new relationship, making decent money, my children were happy, my savings looked nice, and I was finally rebuilding from my children’s father’s destruction of what I used to call my life....
Stay tuned!
