Converging Paths

I made a trip down to the prior town in which I lived, due to the fact that I had a class I have been meaning to finish, in reference to learning Reiki, and progressing along this path. I stopped and saw my brother and sister in law, and had a good conversation with them, which feels like it was one that allowed progress to be made, where I truly was not aware that such progress was needed. I was able to have a meaningful conversation with my brother in law that was not one that came up expectedly, but in fact had a deeper, more sacred meaning to it's intent.

I was approached in the light, of lacking wisdom in my choices that I have not only made as of late, but in fact have made since my life began to change, which have all been conducive for not just my growth and progression, but for the growth and progression of those who I value, and have come in contact with in my life. My brother in law questioned the soundness of my decision to make my dearest friend the beneficiary of my finances in the event that something happens which causes my life to end abruptly, and it was not something that I was expecting. I was able to not only keep my composure in this event, but I was able to frame my response in a way that reflected that which I have learned throughout my life, thus far.

I made the decision to make this friend of mine the beneficiary of my financial holdings due to the fact that she has been persistent in her authenticity, and her compassion, towards not just myself, but in regards to all those with which she has interactions with. This decision caused aggravation in my brother in law that I did not expect, however I do know where the root of such a response stems, and that root is the fact the money has been a constant, and continual pursuit of his. When he found out that my finances were not going to be left in his hands, he seemed to be offended by my decision, and questioned the wisdom and soundness of such a decision, as well as questioning whether or not I was blinded by my emotions. I have learned many things over the last five years, and one of the most important lessons which I have learned is that those who seek for financial gain, are usually those who unfortunately will do whatever it takes to get it, so I have a tendency of testing the ethics of those with which I deal.

My friend has shown that she is not making the pursuit of money, her all encompassing mission in this life, but instead, I have seen that the pursuit of treating people with kindness, and true compassion has been what seems to not only be her natural inclination when interacting with people, but also seems to be the motivating factor behind everything she does, and she has had a very trying time as of late. I find that those who do not seek after money, are usually the ones who will utilize it for the greatest good, because it is not something that they have allowed to consume their every desire.

I have a Reiki class at 3:30 today, and I came down early to ensure that I was able to see all of the people that mean so much to me. When I stopped by the healing shop/center which my friend owns, I did not expect to meet a woman, that it seems was someone I made a soul contract with, prior to this existence, because the connection which we shared, initially, was not only deep in the way we were able to communicate, it was very healing, for her, and seeing that was something that motivated me to want to pursue the path of healing, for not only myself, but others as well. I was given the opportunity to learn a lot about someone who has a very pure spirit, and whos pure intentions, and honesty, were something I have never experienced before, at least not on an initial level, she was an open book, which is something that is truly inspiring.

Being open and honest with someone is not an easy thing to do, especially when you are conversing about things which are very deep in their meaning, both spiritually and emotionally, and also carry a very heavy energetic signature, which must be reciprocated with compassion, understanding and unconditional kindness. I am very blessed to have had this interaction today, and feel that a life long friendship has been formed, in the interaction which we were able to have today. When you pursue a life of healing, you meet people who are also on such a path, and when you meet them, it seems to be something that the universe has conspired to create in reference to the ability that each party has to imbue a healing effect on the other.

We must never take for granted the interactions which we have on a daily basis, because the words that we use when we engage someone else in conversation, can have far reaching effects, even if we think the encounter is not something that holds much meaning, I promise, that every single person we encouner on our journey is something that is meant to give us the opportunity to grow, and progress on our spiritual path. These encounters can help us to develop into beings, which possess the capacity to truly impact this world in a very pure and positive way, as long as we do not allow distractions that have been implemented by those who wield corruption like a weapon, to distract us from that which we feel we have been called to do.

Never let anyone else determine who you are, or how you will react, because the choice in every moment is fully ours, and in order to make the best choices we can possibly make, from moment to moment, is to learn to harness the power that not only our words have, but our emotions have as well.

Do not underestimate the power that you hold within, because if you do not bring forth that which you have within you, it will destroy you, If you do bring forth that which you have within you, it will save you.
