Frank Edoho during interview

During an interview with Teju Babyface, Frank Edoho was asked "Somebody came up with a comment about you being a black guard, a wife beater. What will make someone even come up with that kind of accusation?" Responding to the allegation, Frank Edoho said:

FRANK EDOHO: In terms of women, am I somebody who is stand-offish to women? Because anybody that is a wife beater first of all looks at women as beneath them; so beneath them that they can trample on them. Look at my wife, she runs an interior business and I'm a director of that business. When she started that business, she was using a phone to snap pictures and I would look at interior designers in the world, very professional, how did they do that? What did I do? I learned photography, because of my wife. I learned photography, framing, composition, I went and learned Adobe LightRoom, bought courses just so I could take quality pictures for my wife. No wife beater supports their wife that way. I support my wife, I stand by her. Her business, I will forget about my own business and if she needs me, I am there in a pinch and she knows this. Can a wife beater let his wife fly and do anything?

The best punishment I can give a woman is malice. I can stay in the house with you, I will not talk to you. If you cross the line, my wife knows, I am the king of malice. I will not talk to you. I will be whistling with my children, "oh I love you! oh daddy is going out, what do you want me to buy for you?" I will go out, come back late. That is the beating that surpasses physical ones. You go and beat a woman, then what? I don't do that. So anybody that says from any corner, crack, or crevice that brings out the proposition that I beat women, the person is a big fool because I support women.
