1. Gideon Okeke

Many people are not aware of this but popular Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke actually once competed in the Big Brother franchise. The now successful actor entered into the first ever season of the Big Brother Naija show which held in 2006 when he was just a fresh graduate of 22 years old. Eventually, the actor was evicted on day 50 from the show.

Obviously this did not deter him because after his elimination from the show, Gideon Okeke quickly went on to snag the role of Philips Ade Williams on Africa Magic's hit show, Tinsel. From there, Gideon Okeke kept on booking more and more roles, so much so to the point that these days nobody even really knows Gideon Okeke as a Big Brother alum, but rather, as an actor.

2. Ebuka Obi-Uchendu

Some people know this but a lot of people do not. When you hear of Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, you of course immediately think "yeah, he is the host of Big Brother", but do you know that Ebuka Obi-Uchendu was actually also once a contestant on the Big Brother show? Yes, he was.

Ebuka was also a contestant on the first ever Big Brother Naija show. He competed in 2006 when he was just 23. Ebuka actually did not even win the show, he was evicted on the 57th day of the show. Following his appearance on Big Brother Naija, Ebuka became a hustler and went on to start writing for newspapers and publications, travelling abroad to do a masters degree, and coming back to focus on a career in journalism. Today, Ebuka is one of the most famous people to have ever walked through the Big Brother Naija gates.

3. Lilian Afegbai.

Finally, many do not know this but Nollywood actress Lilian Afegbai also had a very short stint on the Big Brother franchise. In 2014, Lilian Afegbai competed in the ninth season of Big Brother Africa but was evicted very quickly after. The actress only last two weeks on the show before being booted off.

Since then Lilian has delved into acting and infuencing, and has these days become a lot more popular for that, so much so that many people don't even remember that she was in the Big Brother house.
