3 Months After Big Brother, Dorathy Starts Controversial New Business (Photos).

Big Brother Naija Season 5 – the Lockdown season is regarded by a lot of Big Brother Naija fans and casual watchers as one of the most entertaining seasons of the show. While everybody could have already guessed who would win the prize money about halfway into the show, the other contestants still won over the hearts of viewers watching worldwide. One such contestant that won so many hearts and got so close to winning the huge prize money was none other than runner-up contestant, 24 year old Dorathy Bachor.

Dorathy was a beloved housemate who upon first sight people thought would be a “wild girl”. Throughout the season, she won viewers of the show over through her outgoing and fun personality – and she almost won the prize money if not for the diehard fans of winner, Laycon.

Since then, Dorathy has continued to build her brand, go on press junkets, and try to continue to push her businesses.

Then, right at the beginning of this year. Just as the year started on 1st of January, 2021, Dorathy Bachor announced her new venture and everybody is talking about it. What is the business you ask? Well, let me tell you.

On January 1st, 2020 after a long time teasing the business, Dorathy Bachor finally announced that she would be launching a LINGERIE BUSINESS called MFC Lingerie – MFC being short for ‘My Full Chest’ – a slogan that has come to be associated with the busty Big Brother housemate.

Announcing the business, Dorathy took to her social media to share her joy writing:

01.01.2021 It’s the beginning of a new year and I’m super excited. Looking back at how 2020 started, if anyone told me I’d be half where I am now, I definitely would have had a good laugh. 2020 was all sorts of emotions mashed together, but it all ended in joy 😊.

I just want to say thank you for the love, support and prayers these past months.

As we ride through 2021 with smiles and blessings at every point, let’s lift a glass to a vision that was born out of innate passion to solve the lingering problem of finding the perfect lingerie for not only full chested women, but every woman.

MFC LINGERIE is coming... are you ready?

Immediately following the news, she was met with happy responses from past Big Brother housemates including Lilo who said:

While a lingerie business is something that is seen as quite controversial in Nigeria, it seems people are in full support of Dorathy selling it. Of course, there are those who aren't quite as supportive.

Some negative comments read:

Is this what you're doing now selling pant and bra?

while another one reads:

Vee is doing music, Laycon is doing music, you're selling bra

But those were the only negative comments I saw - majority of people are in full support of Dorathy. Her fans on social media definitely are. In fact, the brand business page has gotten over 12.8K followers on Instagram since it’s launch. It seems people are really happy with this and plan on patronizing.
