This month is perfect for revisiting some classics or watching them for the first time. I don’t see these recommended often, but their dark vibes are perfect for this chilly season.

Carnival of Souls

Carnival of Souls is a haunting psychological horror film. It follows Mary Henry, a young woman who survives a car accident only to be plagued by strange and unsettling visions. This gives the right atmosphere for this month.

Messiah of Evil

In Messiah of Evil, we follow a young woman who travels to a remote coastal town in search of her missing father. As she investigates, she uncovers a dark and disturbing secret about the town. The vibes in here are just right for a spooky night.

City of the Dead

City of the Dead is a classic black-and-white British horror film. It follows a college student who travels to a small New England town to research the history of witchcraft. Another classic that brings the perfect dark and foggy atmosphere.

House on Haunted Hill (1959)

House on Haunted Hill is about a millionaire who offers five strangers a large sum of money to spend a night in a supposedly haunted mansion. It features the horror legend Vincent Price, so that pretty much says it all.

I hope you enjoy these recommendations 👻🎬 and wish you a very frightful Otcober 🎃🕸️🕷️!
