There are still many things out there that defy explanation. From children from impossible places to miracles in the sky, here are some unsolved mysteries that I'll try to explain.

Cape Intruder.

Residents of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, in the United States, first noticed some weird occurrences in 2005.

Additionally, this wasn't just sleep walking. No.

Many people in the town claimed to have woken up in the middle of the night to find a man staring back at them, all of whom matched the same description.

The sleeping victims would catch a fleeting glimpse of the enigmatic figure, but before they could respond, he would disappear into thin air, leaving behind the terrified bodies of his victims.

Even though it was creepy, the victims of the Cape invader might find solace in the fact that this invader appeared to have entered peacefully.

Nothing was stolen, nothing was harmed to them or their possessions.

So, other than the odd sleep-watching habit, he seems like an okay guy, I suppose.

But these victims were not about to take a nap on this.

A preliminary sketch was created and presented on the local news; this resulted in a number of calls from people claiming to know potential suspects.

However ,despite the fact that two witnesses identified the same perpetrator, the police were never able to bring the case to a successful conclusion.

The enigmatic Cape Intruder never peeked at the sleepers again after his initial round of visits.

or so we believe.

Unless he simply improved at sneaking around unnoticed.

It's also possible that the man didn't exist at all and was simply a succession of sleep paralysis incidents, with people's half-dreams and half-waking states impacted by the reporting descriptions of the man they'd been hearing about.

The only thing I can say with certainty is that I'll be locking my door tonight because there is no other way to know.

The Woolpit green youngsters.

In the 12th century, villagers in Woolpit, Suffolk, England, witnessed a really strange sight: a boy and a girl with skin that had a noticeable green tint.

They were discovered on the outskirts of the settlement speaking total nonsense, appearing to have appeared out of nowhere.

However, their alleged origin would be made public long later, startling the Woolpit residents.

These sage-colored children were taken in and cared for by Sir Richard de Calne, who was perplexed to learn that these green-hued kids would only eat green broad beans, according to writings at the time by Ralph of Coggeshall.

The children were not like the steadfast evergreens that stood tall and unchanging through the seasons. No, they were different, unique in their own way. For years, they had subsisted on a diet of greenery, but as time passed, their verdant hue began to fade.

The boy, unfortunately, succumbed to illness not long after their arrival, leaving the girl to be raised by Sir Richard. Under his care, she learned the language of the land and eventually shared the story of their mysterious arrival in Woolpit.

She spoke of a place called St. Martin's Land, a world shrouded in perpetual twilight where the sun never graced the sky. It was a tale that left many in awe and wonder.

Once upon a time, a young girl and her brother were tending to their father's cattle in the rolling hills of the countryside. As they walked, they heard a peculiar sound emanating from a nearby cave.

Curiosity piqued, they ventured forth into the unknown, their hearts pounding with excitement and trepidation. As they emerged from the cave, they found themselves in a strange and wondrous land called Woolpit.

The villagers there were amazed by their sudden appearance, and the siblings were soon the talk of the town.

But what was the truth behind this fantastical tale? Some believed that the siblings had stumbled upon a portal to another world, while others thought that they had been visited by extraterrestrial beings.

In the 17th century, English writer Robert Burton suggested that the siblings had encountered little green people who had fallen from the heavens. However, many dismissed this as mere folklore.

In more recent years, however, scientists have put forth their own theories. Perhaps the siblings had stumbled upon a parallel universe, or had been transported through time and space.

Whatever the truth may be, the tale of the siblings from Woolpit remains a fascinating mystery to this day.

There are those who speculate that the young ones had been afflicted with the venomous effects of arsenic, or perhaps even the malnourished condition known as chlorosis, which can cause a peculiar greenish tint to one's skin.

The mystery deepens as to why these children were found in that particular place, and why they spoke in a tongue unknown to the locals. Some have put forth the theory that they were the offspring of Flemish immigrants who had made their way to England during that time.

It is not uncommon for families to have perished during such a journey, leaving their children to fend for themselves. It is possible that the green children were such orphans, wandering aimlessly in search of aid.

Given their tender age at the time, it is conceivable that the girl had forgotten the details of their past once she had learned to communicate in English.

The evidence supporting the authenticity of the green children is further bolstered by the existence of Fornham St. Martin, a village nestled in the heart of Suffolk during the time of their alleged arrival.

Alas, the sun continues to shine upon this quaint hamlet, unremarkable in its daily routine.Yet, with the passage of time eroding the truth of these events, one can only speculate as to the veracity of this tale.

Oh, how I envy those who possess the knowledge of what truly transpired.
