Unopened Mystery

The door no one would talk about

“There was only one rule: don’t open the door,” my boss told me on my first day at the Gyno Lab Corporation.

“Even if it starts to open on its own stop, it must stay shut,” the boss repeated.

Despite working here as long as I have, I have never seen anyone enter or exit the room. The door just sits with a dangerous placard on it. The keypad has an iris scan and a badge scan that sits dormant. Passing it every day was a routine. I stopped even wondering about it.

Strange noises still came from the door, but no one ever reacted. Lights would be seen from under the door and flickered. However, it was a regular occurrence after a while, with no one entering or existing. It made it a little eerie to cross that part of the building.  Even asking around the place, the other employees were worthless pursuits. This place has a weird essence as I would deliver the various tubes to the labs.  Each day, I just started to ignore the unopened door.

One day, going by, it started to shake but never opened. I could only jump as the guards showed up, and it stopped.  The whole staff was freaked out, but it never happened again despite no one ever opening the door.  The more I passed it, the more uncomfortable I was working at this creepy place. Somehow, I needed the job and continued. It was finally getting back to normal.  I just kept doing my job except for that day.

The door locks started to move in as they were all watched. All I could do was wonder what was behind it and wanted to stop it from opening. The creaking continued as the door continued to open.
