Top 10 Celebrities Who Have Lost Their Cool

Strange things happen!!!!

By Abdeslam EZ ZAROUKIPublished 3 years ago 7 min read

We have high standards for our celebs. Generally speaking, we anticipate things to match our perception of them. Some people believe that celebrities ought to serve as role models. Celebrities actually have the same human weaknesses as the rest of us weaker mortals. A likable figure from a show ought to be likable in real life. They're not supposed to take the mask off for a second. Or at least, many of us anticipate that. But having a famous status comes with its own pressures, some of which can be quite challenging to handle. The human side of our favorite characters shouldn't surprise us. Their stumbles are frequently scrutinized by the public, much like the rest of their lives, which is a concern for them. Here are 10 instances where likeable celebs lost it!

10 -George Clooney

Even the savvier George Clooney has a tolerance ceiling. In 1999, ER, the popular series that had launched Clooney to stardom, was drawing to a close. Clooney already had some successful movies under his belt—beginning with From Dusk to Dawn in 1996, and he was working on the comedy Three Kings.

But possibly he was exerting too much pressure. Seven days a week, Clooney was in front of the camera while also working on other projects. Meanwhile, behind the camera on the set of Three Kings was the director, David O. Russell. Russell was (and still is) a successful director, but he had a reputation for driving his actors hard and treating them with disdain.

It's unclear exactly what took place on the Three Kings set. Did Russell physically harm a supporting actor? He was shouting at the workers, but was he really attempting to be heard on a noisy set? Whatever the reason, Clooney and Russell got into a brawl where comments and punches were thrown. Clooney described it as "the worst experience of my life." The film was positively received by critics and did well at the box office.

9- Cher

Interviews with David Letterman, a talk show presenter, frequently go in their own direction. His conversations with visitors had a natural flow as a result, which viewers liked. Cher was wary about the format, though, as she was aware that Letterman had a reputation for being rather harsh with his guests.

It took Cher four years to agree to appear on his show. When she did, in 1986, she appeared a little uneasy as Letterman began with some unimportant but flirty observations. She famously replied that she believed Letterman was an a**hole when questioned about why she had been so hesitant to appear. She made the infamous comment that Letterman was an a**hole. Even Letterman wasn't prepared for how the live audience responded. Nevertheless, it made for excellent television, and Cher returned to the program for later interviews—most notably, in 2015, as Letterman was completing his lengthy run of shows, when it seemed that all had been forgotten, if not completely forgiven.

8-Charlie Watts

For 58 years, Charlie Watts (1941-2021) served as The Rolling Stones' drummer. He laid the groundwork for the other band members to build their own distinct rock and roll band with his tight, recognizable approach. Watts, though, stood out significantly from the other band members. He never adopted their hedonistic way of life since he was reticent, conservative, and secluded. He always preferred performing with his jazz ensemble over working with The Stones because jazz was his first love. The Rolling Stones visited Amsterdam, Holland, in 1984. Around five in the morning, Keith Richards and Mick Jagger stumbled back to their hotel.

Watts was dozing off in his bedroom. Jagger thought calling Watts would be a wonderful idea, but the drummer didn't pick up. Where is my drummer, Jagger yelled? Twenty minutes later, Jagger received a knock at the door. Watts entered after Richards unlocked the door. Jagger nearly fell out the window and into the canal below after being floored by Watts, who was immaculately dressed. Watts brought Jagger to his feet. Watts shouted, "Never call me your drummer again," and Richards led him back to his room. Watts needed some time to recover from the tragedy.

7-J.K. Rowling

The well-known author of the Harry Potter books reportedly read an editorial in June 2020 that made reference to "those who menstruate." She retweeted the article and remarked that such people were once known by a word. Naturally, she was referring to "women," and she was furious that the author of the piece had purposefully avoided using the word in order to avoid offending the transgender community.

Actors, other celebrities, and thought leaders responded right away. They said that she was disrespecting the transgender community. Rowling refused to back down and elaborate on her point rather than apologizing. She should have kept her opinions to herself if she wanted a peaceful life. But it's clear that she has strong feelings about it. She undoubtedly has no aversion to controversy.

Psychologists discovered that Grantham had a number of problems, including depression and a cannabis use disorder. He received a life sentence from the courts for second-degree murder.

5- Miley Cyrus

When Miley Cyrus portrayed Hannah Montana in the comedy of the same name, fans adored her. Hannah, the pop sensation, attempted to retain the appearance that she was a regular teen while leading a double life in the Disney show. There were indications that Cyrus was not as morally upright as the family-oriented Disney would have liked almost from the start of her career. Given her age, a spate of sexualized images looked inappropriate; nonetheless, other occurrences revealed that Cyrus was a strong-willed young woman.

Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato were establishing themselves as up-and-coming stars in the Disney universe in July 2008. Lovato was scheduled to appear in the film Camp Rock, while Gomez had a part as a competing pop star in Hannah Montana. Disney made a mistake if they thought the trio of girls would work well together. On YouTube, Miley Cyrus posted a video making fun of the two newbies. She eventually expressed regret and removed the video, but this just served to highlight the fact that Disney was dealing with an impetuous young actress who was determined to go her own way.

4- Prince Louis

The royal children in the care of the Lambrook Preparatory School teachers are kept private. However, we may assume that if they did, they would characterize Prince Louis of Wales as a mischievous handful. 2018 saw the birth of Prince Louis, who is a regular toddler. Although his parents and elder siblings try their best to restrain him, Louis is adamant about doing things his way. Because of the British royal family's prominent public position, Louis's young life was unavoidably spent in the media. This naturally puts the entire family under pressure to act in accordance with expectations, which may be a little unjust to a youngster Louis's age. Nevertheless, the audience adores him and eagerly awaits his next move.

3- John Lennon

After The Beatles broke up, John Lennon wrote the song "Imagine" in the same year. Yoko Ono helped write "Imagine," which is commonly referred to as a Lennon-Ono song, although John Lennon first claimed sole credit for the creation. The song gained more popularity after John Lennon's death and was adopted as an anthem for peace movements from the very beginning. According to some critics, the song is not particularly good. Whether it is true or not, it gained popularity and is still played at numerous events by many deserving organizations.

Lennon might have become a little tired of it. This would undoubtedly explain how our video's parody came to be. Having said that, Lennon had a biting sense of humor, so it's possible that he's just making light of his song. Many people did not like the parody; some said it was proof that Lennon had become mentally unstable. You'll have to decide for yourself.

2- Will Smith

Will Smith's infamous "slapping" of comedian Chris Rock had to be included on this list. Smith attended the ceremony in 2022 to get his first-ever Oscar for the role he played in the film King Richard. Rock joked about Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, when introducing him. The joke, which made reference to Smith's closely shaven head, wasn't very funny. We don't know if Rock was aware that Smith had alopecia, a condition that results in hair loss. Whether he meant to or not, Will Smith was offended and approached Rock before slapping him. Rock instantly bounced back and laughed it off. Will Smith later expressed regret. However, it has since been clear that Will Smith's career is far from over.

1- Tom Cruise

Because of people's mistrust in vaccines and the restrictions put in place by health officials, the recent pandemic created a tremendous lot of disruption. Tom Cruise clearly believed that masks should be worn, as seen by his criticism of members of the newest Mission Impossible crew who were not. Some individuals backed Cruise, while others believed he should have restrained himself and stopped using his voice.

Instead of making the argument public, perhaps he would have been better off talking to the staff members in private. Cruise had previously established himself as a contentious star.
