Title: Midnight Guest
was 2am. In a small village far from the city, silence overcame the world. There was no sound except for the rustling of leaves in the cold wind. At the edge of the village, I flickered through the mist of an old two-storey house.

There was only one resident in this house: Rudra. He came out of town to spend a few days off in the village. He was not afraid of the old, slurred house - he found peace of solitude. But what happened that night shook the heart of his beliefs.
As the night deepened, the light suddenly began to flicker and disappeared. Rudra read a book near the window and assumed that the strength had faded. But strangely, the lights were still on in the other rooms. This room was the only one covered in darkness.
An annoying Rudra tried to fix the light, but a thick mist wafted through the window into the room before he could do anything. A cold air was blown into it and the curtains were caught violently. Suddenly, Rudra felt that someone was in the room. He turned and saw the woman standing on the white sari floor. Her face was covered in her veil.
"Who are you?" asked Rudra.
The woman gave no answer. She quietly went to the window and disappeared into the mist without warning.
Rudra began to sweat. His heart beating. He knew no one else should be at home. After freezing for a while, he rushed, but found nothing. Only on cold nights.
The next morning, memories of the event appeared blurry. Rudra tried to convince her that it was just a nightmare. On this day he performed the incident casually with an older villager, Ramesh Kaku.
Ramesh Kakus's representation was changed immediately. "Would you stay in this room? Sheila Rani was once a room. Did you not know? About ten years ago, she committed suicide in this house. She was the only daughter of the previous owner. That night, the light came out into the room and in the morning they found them hanging by the window. No one has since deliberately staying in this room. "
Rudra was cold. Through the gap below he saw the rifts made of white fabric. He cried, but no one answered. When he opened the door, there was nothing - just a swirling mist.
The strange events continued the following night. Sometimes he saw a man standing by the window, sometimes he heard the gentle laughter of death in the night.
One night, Rudra decides to set up a camera. He placed his phone in the corner of the room and began recording before he went to bed.
At 3am, he woke up suddenly and found a mist figure in the middle of the room. This time a woman has moved. Slowly, she approached him. Rudra ran to the door, but it wouldn't be open - as if it had been closed from the outside.
A woman approached. She stood in front of Rudra and slowly raised the veil.
Rudra switched his eyes.
Her face was burned, and her appearance was damaged. There were no eyes. The rest of his eyes stared directly at Rudra's soul.
Everything disappeared when dawn broke, and light penetrated through the windows. Rudra collapsed to the ground and trembled.
In the morning, he checked the film material. The video clearly showed a woman standing by the window at 2:26am before slowly moving to the camera before the feed freezes.
Rudra is not waiting for any more moments. He packed it up that day and left the village.
This house is still there. No one dares to live there. Locals say Sheila Rani is still in the window at night...waiting for someone to come back.
