At first, she thought it was just the wind, but as she listened more closely, she realized that the whispers were coming from somewhere inside the house. She sat up in bed, her heart racing. Emily tried to convince herself that she was just hearing things, but the whispers continued every night. She tried to ignore them, but they were always there, haunting her. Eventually, she confided in her best friend Olivia, who suggested they do some research on the house.
