You should’ve listened , now you’ll never leave

The old mansion had been abandoned for decades, its grandeur and beauty slowly being consumed by the passing of time. The once-lush gardens were overgrown with weeds, the sound of crickets and the rustling of leaves the only signs of life.

Dr. Emma Taylor, a renowned paranormal investigator, stood before the mansion, her heart racing with anticipation. She had been invited to investigate the mysterious disappearance of the mansion's former occupant, Mr. Edward Blackstone.

As Emma stepped inside, a chill ran down her spine. The air inside was thick and heavy, and she could feel the weight of the mansion's dark history bearing down on her.

She began to explore the mansion, her equipment at the ready. Every creak of the wooden floorboards, every groan of the old wooden beams, made her jump.

As she made her way deeper into the mansion, Emma stumbled upon a room that seemed frozen in time. The bed was still made, the clothes still hung in the closet, and the desk was still cluttered with papers.

But it was the photograph on the nightstand that caught Emma's attention. It was a picture of Mr. Blackstone, but his eyes had been scratched out.

Suddenly, Emma heard a faint whispering in her ear. It was a soft, raspy voice that seemed to be coming from all around her.

"Get out while you still can," the voice whispered.

Emma spun around, but there was no one there. She tried to shake off the feeling of unease, telling herself it was just her imagination.

But as she turned to leave, she saw something that made her blood run cold. On the wall, in letters that seemed to be written in blood, was a message:

"I've been waiting for you."

Emma knew then that she was not alone in the mansion. She turned to run, but it was too late. The doors slammed shut behind her, trapping her inside.

As she frantically searched for a way out, the whispering in her ear grew louder, more urgent.

"You should have listened," the voice whispered. "Now you'll never leave."

And with that, the lights went out, plunging Emma into darkness. She was never seen again.

The next morning, the police found Emma's car parked outside the mansion, the engine still running. But she was nowhere to be found.

The mansion remained abandoned, a testament to the horror that had taken place within its walls. And the whispering in the darkness continued, a haunting reminder that some secrets were better left unspoken.
