The Uninvited Guest

Once upon a time, there was an old man who had always been known to be the reclusive type. One dark and stormy night, he heard a loud knocking on his door that made him jump up in surprise. But when he opened it, no one was there; just heavy gusts of wind running through the woods surrounding his house.

He shrugged it off as nothing more than any other creak from the aging timber making its usual sound but little did he know something ominous was about to occur...

Suddenly out from nowhere appeared this uninvited guest standing right before him trying hard not to make a sound or cause too much disturbance- A tall slender figure wearing a long flowing cloak with eyes bright like fireflies. It spoke softly yet sternly "I have come here to ask of you something quite peculiar". The old man stood petrified for what seemed like hours unable to grasp what kind of situation he stumbled into until finally mustering enough courage asked in quivering voice “What is it?”

The creature responded indifferently “Your soul... I speak only truth so if your heart has at least some goodness within then answer me three riddles correctly and maybe I won't take away yours." With those words they started their game having very different stakes involved every turn could lead either into victory or downfall....

Once upon a time, there was an old innkeeper who lived in the countryside. He liked to keep his inn cozy and warm on cold winter nights. One night he decided to leave the door of his inn slightly open so that any weary travelers could enter and find refuge from the chill air of winter's night. Little did he know what visitors this would attract?

Just before midnight, an uninvited guest arrived at the door - a large fox with bright eyes and majestic furred coat blowing in the wind. The fox slowly walked inside and made him comfortable by curling up next to one of the fireplaces near where some guests were warming their hands. Everyone stared in amazement but none dared challenge it here in its home territory after all!

The friendly fox stayed around for a while, keeping everyone entertained with tales of its mischievous escapades through ancient forests and daring adventures among towering mountain ranges far away. Eventually when morning came, it disappeared as quickly as it had appeared leaving behind only a tiny tuft of fur which glimmered like silver against green moss underfoot outside by side entrance gate..

Once upon a time, there lived an old couple in a small town. They were kind and generous people who always ensured the well-being of their neighbors.

One evening, they invited some friends over for dinner but shortly after they arrived, someone knocked on the door. The man opened it expecting to see his friend he had given permission to drop by later in the night; however it was no one that either knew or recognized.

As soon as he set eyes on them he got scared because this uninvited guest made him feel uneasy with their piercing gaze and demanding presence. He asked them what did they want from him but all that came out of the mysterious figure’s mouth where incomprehensible words that only sent shivers through his body as if something inside told him not to trust this entity any further than necessary

The wife then stepped forward while her husband watched fearfully behind her shoulders embracing her courage since she wasn't afraid of confronting whatever seemed wrong at first sight like him before. To everyone's surprise though conversation started fluently between both parties despite everybody else being surprised by how easily she was able to maintain such relaxed state around this stranger:

He explained why has traveled hundred miles looking for help since ordinarily no one likes trespassers so readily accepted into private homes without proper introduction due circumstances far more complicated than anyone can imagine ,as humanly attending every demand placed onto Him leaving complete exhaustion eating away His physical shape slowly yet surely until nothing remain anymore . So It come down seeking respite amongst these strangers familiar enough yet strange enough to be easy companionship when required . Thus an upcoming unexpected alliance began its way toward achieving great feats prepared just so whenever One needed resources nearby uncommon folk wouldn father usually can provide regular means access too ,likewise ensuring safety falling asleep each night having vigilant guards ready assist anytime danger arose . Although thing didn't go smoothly normal life took back control again eventually separating new found acquaintances returning Everythying into former calm self once They gotten used idea entrusting belongings fate another whom never fails deliver safeguarding taking responsibility kept accountable Whatever may happen during interval period granted forever More ...

Once upon a time, in a small village near the edge of the forest, there lived an old couple who had no children. One night at midnight when they were sound asleep in their bed, suddenly there was knock on their door and an uninvited guest had arrived. The man went to see who it was only to find that it was a bear!

The poor couple were scared out of their wits but decided not to show any fear lest they would anger the beast. Without uttering another word the bear walked into house as if he owned it and made himself comfortable by lying down next to fireside without invitation or so much as saying hello.

Naturally frightened with this sudden invasion into his own home, husband thought how he could deal with such unexpected situation so came up with clever ideas - He asked Bear about food which apparently aroused his appetite , amazingly enough after some time have passed bearing found very lovable animal rather than shady intruder henceforth cheerfully shared what little modest meal family can prepare till sunrise later exchanged youthful stories while occasionally dozing off under warm blaze like fine gentleman whilst lovely lady eventually delighted laying eye majesty tranquil manner guest carries itself .

At daybreak morning sunlight wake everyone inside however friendly stranger make sure teeming sunrays appear long before he leaves amicably said goodbye host leave restful aura pleasant dream around staring horizon then hush smitten asleep knowing joys coming days will likely bring happy ending story heard through ages just like one told today…

Once upon a time, there was an old cottage in the countryside that had been unoccupied for many years. One day, as the family who lived nearby were preparing for a dinner party to host their distant relatives from out of town, they noticed someone moving about inside the empty house. Filled with curiosity and worry at once, they decided to investigate by entering through an unlocked door into what seemed like an abandoned home filled with cobwebs and dust coiling around every corner.

Suddenly they heard rustling coming from one of the rooms down the hall and ventures further looking back into its semi-darkness; until suddenly something strange met their eyes! It was no other than a mysterious guest dressed all in black that appeared out of nowhere claiming to be on journey trying to find his parents who used to live here long ago before it became deserted. The guest could not recall how he got there or why he even wandered this place but said he felt strangely drawn towards it since then.. After hesitating curiously whether or not accept him as part of their gathering due sudden appearance ,they compromise between allowing him partake provided given food & sheltered . Sure enough after some entertainment – music & cuisine among fun conversations eventually followed -by night fall formalities culminated accordingly!. Inevitably suffice leave next morning both guests continued journeys separately however grateful fond memories similar experience embedded forever within minds each thereafter irrespective whatever tomorrow held life's unpredictable card draw !

Once upon a time, there was an old man who lived in the forest with his beloved wife. Every year he would go away on business for a few weeks, so she kept their home safe while he was gone. One night as they were loftily asleep in bed something strange happened. A loud thud and some heavy breathing had them wide-eyed and alarmed! As soon as the noise stopped all seemed quiet again but not too long afterwards a sound of slow footsteps echoed around every corner! The couple were filled fear, genuine terror by now...Not sure if they should even try to investigate or if that might only make matters worse. Just then came another louder shock this time followed closely by "Hello is anyone here?" He asked suspiciously at first before taking one step forward into what could now be seen clearly under moonlight; Yes it was indeed someone uninvited -an intruder! Who sobbed rapidly when noticed fine little statue brought back from abroad held ever so strongly in his hands....The startled homeowner can partly understand why guest did whatever crimes committed albeit hesitantly silently glad noone injured rushed him off after retrieving valuable item lost forever without dear precious piece ! This never forgotten moment marked change life led next day investigation took over news spread like wildfire . All authorities made sure questioning misunderstood believe became quite apparent stranger compelled actions worthy justice own kind heart understanding!!

Once upon a time, there lived a young man named Thomas who enjoyed visiting his grandmother on summer afternoons. She always had delicious cakes and treats for him, plus interesting stories from her past to tell. One particular afternoon when Thomas arrived at his grandmother’s house he noticed something strange; an unfamiliar figure was standing in the hallway watching him intently as soon as he entered.

Thomas felt uneasy but decided to stay for fear of offending his beloved Grandmother – you see this unknown figure was an uninvited guest into the old woman's home. Despite feeling alarmedat what he saw, Thomas greeted them both politely with a warm smile before settling down in the lounge area while they conversed amongst themselves by the door.

Little did they know that frozen outside stood two shadowy figures perched atop a nearby rooftop menacingly studying their every move until one insisted that it was not yet safe enough to make entry inside through conventional means… only then would our story truly begin...

Once upon a time, there was an old, decrepit house at the edge of town. It had been abandoned for many years and was said to be haunted by the ghost of its former inhabitant – Hiram Blackbee. One night, while everyone else in town slept peacefully, something stirred inside the old manor…

A figure wrapped in a thick cloak crept up the stairs and silently opened each door one by one until they reached their destination: The Parlour Room. As soon as they entered this room however, everything changed - what once seemed like darkness suddenly illuminated with light that shone from every corner! A mysterious presence filled the entire space and it wasn't long before that presence was revealed: It was no other than Hiram himself!

Hiram had returned from whatever afterlife he'd been trapped in just moments ago and started speaking calmly yet intensely about how his life could have ended differently if only he hadn't made wrong decisions along his road. He questioned why destiny brought him such bad luck despite all efforts undertaken throughout his life but then answered himself saying “Perhaps I deserved nothing better...” after which he disappeared again into thin air without another word leaving behind complete shock among those present who took witness on The Uninvited Guests' tale that night.

Once upon a time, there was an old house nestled in the woods which many people swore contained some sort of otherworldly entity. One night, Kim, who lived nearby with her family, decided to bravely explore the mystery for herself and ventured into the darkness that surrounded it.

As she crossed the threshold of its entranceway, a cold draft crept through from somewhere within. Suddenly feeling uneasy in her presence, Kim looked around and spotted something peculiar - one extra pair of shoes belonging to someone unknown! She gazed down this unfamiliar hallway before what seemed like forever and finally spoke out loud: “Whoever you are...show yourself now," But nothing stirred as if time had suddenly stopped.

After calming any worry inside her head just then she heard subtle noises coming form deep within so she walked closer towards their direction until eventually standing right outside what must have been somebody's bedroom door at last! Carefully opening it up inch by small inch only when curiosity became too strong all at once did this mysterious figure come out dressed exactly how we today would think them - ready for Halloween they stood chilling skin.....

"Who-who are you?!" Stuttered Kim unable tto take even a single breath yet together both faces soon softened finding alliance instead where no wickedness lay hidden underneath these soft eyes on either side! The two shared stories about themselves learning more during hours spent chattering away until shortly later Kim hugged goodbye waving warm thoughts off into space sharing laughter but never forgetting those memories vanished without trace....

The Uninvited Guest is thus known still today among friends much younger than our heroine not really believing such mythical tales were bound ever true because whenever hubbub echo'd round each gathered face none could suspect such ghostly encounters stuck goodbyes between once free inseparable souls again..

Once upon a time, there was an old man who lived alone in his small stone cottage on the edge of town. He had no family and few friends, but enjoyed his peaceful solitude nonetheless. One evening, he retired early to bed when suddenly he heard noises coming from downstairs. He quickly got up and grabbed a lantern before cautiously making his way down into the darkness below.

As soon as the light shone through, what he saw made him gasp - for seated comfortably at his kitchen table was a large black cat with glowing eyes! As if sensing its intruder's surprise, it opened its mouth to speak: "I apologize for my uninvited presence," it said calmly." I have come here looking for shelter from this cold night air". The old man could not contain himself any longer; he hastily defended his home and demanded that the creature depart immediately! But strangely enough, despite all their arguing back and forth over who would be master of this particular household - neither seemed willing to give up...

The strange little standoff between these two characters continued until daybreak when finally, reluctantly even perhaps - they both welcomed one another as housemates under one roof. And so began their charming friendship which blossomed against all odds while turning foes into lifetime friends indeed!
