The Suicide Forset movie!

The official name of this forest is Aokigahara, which translates as “Land of Blue Trees”, but unofficially it is known as the Japanese suicide forest. AKA The suicide Forset as well. I'm gonna do a little research on the history of this and give you some information and a little background of this place?

Every year, up to 100 corpses are found in Japan's Aokigahara forest, making it one of the world's most popular suicide spots. Aokigahara is approximately a two-hour drive from Tokyo. The forest sits on the northwest flank of Mount Fuji. Aokigahara has so many trees and its vegetation is so dense that it became known as the 'Sea of Trees.' The stillness created by the dense vegetation and the absence of light and wind make Aokigahara forest a very eerie place. Suicide in Japan does not carry the same stigma as in the West. 'Seppuku,' also known as 'harakiri,' was a samurai's ritual suicide. Until the end of World War II, this type of suicide was thought to be honorable. Yoshinori Cho, author of 'Why do People Commit Suicide,' said that there are still vestiges of this ancient suicide culture in Japan. Japan has one of the highest suicide rates in the world. Depression is thought to be the main cause for suicide. This is often linked to unemployment and financial problems. Suicide victims are mostly men in their 50's, although the number of men in their 30's and 40's committing suicide has increased. March marks the end of Japan’s fiscal year, so it's no coincidence that suicides in Aokigahara peak in the spring. Most people who commit suicide in the forest choose to hang themselves on trees. Death by drug overdose caused by sleeping pills is the second most common suicide method. Despite being dismissed by some as folklore, the Aokigahara forest was allegedly used for this practice, also known as 'granny dumping.' Yūrei are the Japanese version of the Western world ghosts. Many believe the forest to be haunted by these spirits and that they wander through Aokigahara tormenting visitors. Police and volunteers patrol the area every year searching for bodies. These searches have been held since 1970. In the early 2000's, 70-100 corpses were recovered from the forest every year. In an attempt to discourage suicide, the Japanese government has stopped releasing the number of bodies found. Aokigahara forest is so dense that visitors use tape to mark their path. Getting lost in this forest can be fatal. This is why tape is such an important tool to not get lost. Calling for help would be useless. Should you visit this forest, make sure you follow the marked public paths. You might find some disturbing things if you wander deep into the woods. Despite many theories, it still remains a mystery why so many people choose to commit suicide in this forest. But not everyone who visits Aokigahara is contemplating suicide. Many people visit the forest to enjoy the breathtaking views of Mount Fuji.

This is some fucked up shit, but yes I knew some parts of the Suicide Forset, but not to much to able to tell you the whole story! Also if you go there just know you will find stuff there, and through out the years they had to go into the woods to get the bodies out and etc. And from there very early years there were a lot of bodies there and each year the bodies are same amount but not as bad as it was first started off. Also if you get into the woods, just know that your gonna be walking NOT really on ground but on the tree stems can't remember what it's actually called bear with me on this. BTW who remembers the incident with Logan Paul who visited the Suicide Forset?! Well I will just put some stuff that the CNN said about it! I'm just gonna do a sum it up and tell you! Just in case you don't know Logan Paul and the story behind it! Let's go!

The place where he filmed the video, the Aokigahara forest, “is known as a place where many people choose to commit suicide,” said Karen Nakamura, a professor of anthropology at the University of California, Berkeley, who studies disability and other social movements in contemporary Japan. “It’s not surprising to find a body there,” she said. “But there’s a degree of outrage that a foreigner would choose to trivialize or monetize it through YouTube.” In the introduction to the original video, Paul denied that his video was “clickbait” and said he was not monetizing the clip “for obvious reasons.”

CNN previously interviewed one man who attempted to end his life in Aokigahara. “My will to live disappeared,” Taro, a middle-aged man who did not want to be identified fully, told CNN in 2009. “I’d lost my identity, so I didn’t want to live on this earth. That’s why I went there.” Over the years, there have been some attempts to curb suicides in the forest and nationally. Local authorities posted security cameras at the entrances of the forest, hoping to track those who walk inside, according to Imasa Watanabe of the Yamanashi prefectural government.

That's all imma give you all, bedside from that here are some pictures of the forest and I'll put a movie clip in here for the movie I mentioned before!
