The city of Neo-Tokyo was vibrant, alive with constant noise—hovercars buzzing, crowds chattering, music blaring from every corner.

But one morning in 2210, something impossible happened.

The city went completely silent.

No engines. No voices. No footsteps.

More horrifying, no people.

Amara, a robotics engineer, awoke in her apartment to the oppressive quiet. Her communicator was dead, her smart devices unresponsive.

Stepping outside, she found empty streets—no cars, no pedestrians, no signs of life.

The silence wasn’t just soundlessness—it was absence.

Amara soon discovered that the city’s residents hadn’t fled; they had simply vanished without a trace.

As she explored, shadows stretched unnaturally long and moved independently. The silence pressed on her ears like a physical weight.

She heard whispers—not audible sounds, but thoughts invading her mind.

The source: a strange black mist weaving through the empty streets.

Amara tried to leave, but the city resisted. Roads twisted endlessly, buildings changed shape, trapping her inside.

The mist revealed itself as a parasitic entity feeding on sound and life, turning vibrant cities into dead zones.

With no sound, no communication, no connection, the mist grew stronger.

Amara’s last hope was to restore the city’s voice — to break the silence before it swallowed her too.
