The Red Rooms

It was a dark and stormy night. The rain was pouring down in sheets, and the wind was howling through the trees. Sarah and her friends had decided to go on a camping trip in the woods, despite the weather forecast warning of severe thunderstorms. They had found a secluded area near a lake and set up their tents, but the sound of the rain and the wind made it impossible to sleep.

As they lay awake in their tents, they heard a strange noise coming from the woods. It sounded like footsteps, but there was no one around. Suddenly, the rain stopped, and the wind died down, leaving an eerie silence. They decided to investigate the noise, and as they walked towards the woods, they saw a figure in the distance. It was a man wearing a long coat, and he was walking towards them.

They called out to him, but he didn't respond. As he got closer, they could see that his face was covered in scars, and his eyes were red and bloodshot. He didn't seem to notice them and continued walking, disappearing into the woods. They were spooked but decided to return to their tents.

The rest of the night was uneventful, but they couldn't shake off the feeling that they were being watched. The next morning, they woke up to find that one of their friends was missing. They searched the area but couldn't find any trace of her. They decided to call the police and report her missing.

As they waited for the police to arrive, they heard the same strange noise coming from the woods. They cautiously walked towards the sound and found a small cabin. They knocked on the door, but there was no response. As they tried to open the door, they heard a scream coming from inside.

They forced their way in and found their missing friend tied up and gagged. She was terrified and couldn't explain what had happened to her. They untied her and quickly left the cabin, not wanting to stay in that creepy place any longer.

As they walked back to their campsite, they heard footsteps following them. They turned around, but there was no one there. They started to run, but the footsteps seemed to be getting closer. They finally made it back to their tents and locked themselves in, too afraid to come out.

Suddenly, they heard a knock on their tent. They hesitantly opened the flap and saw the same scarred man from the night before. He was holding a knife, and his eyes were glowing red. They tried to run, but he was too fast. He caught up to them and started attacking them one by one.

Sarah was the last one standing. She managed to grab a nearby rock and hit the man on the head, knocking him out. She called the police, and they arrived just in time to arrest him. He was a notorious serial killer who had been on the run for years.

Sarah and her friends were traumatized by the experience and never went on another camping trip again. They couldn't shake off the feeling that they were being watched, even in their own homes. They never forgot the horror and mystery of that night and the realization that danger can be lurking in even the most peaceful of places.
