The Night Creature
When nightmares crawl into your life

It was a dark and stormy night, and Sarah was driving home from a late-night shift at the hospital. As she drove down the winding road, the rain began to pour down harder, and the wind howled outside. She could barely see the road in front of her, and she felt her car hydroplaning as she tried to make it through the storm.
Suddenly, she heard a loud thud, and her car skidded to a stop. She realized that she had hit something in the road, but she couldn't see what it was. She got out of her car and walked around to the front, and what she saw made her blood run cold.
Lying in front of her car was a mangled, twisted body. It was too dark to see who or what it was, but she could tell that it was something inhuman. She felt a shiver run down her spine as she realized that she was alone on a deserted road with a monster.
As she tried to get back into her car, she heard a low growling noise coming from the darkness. She looked up and saw two glowing eyes staring back at her. She knew that she had to get out of there fast, but her car wouldn't start. She was trapped.
Suddenly, she heard a scratching sound on the roof of her car, and then she felt something clawing at her window. She screamed and tried to fight it off, but it was no use. The creature was too strong, and it was determined to get inside.
As she sat there, trapped and alone, Sarah realized that she was going to die. She closed her eyes and waited for the end, but it never came. When she opened her eyes again, she was back in her bed, safe and sound.
She told herself that it was just a nightmare, but she couldn't shake the feeling that something was watching her. She tried to go back to sleep, but she couldn't. She lay there, wide awake, listening to the sound of her own heartbeat.
As she lay there, she heard a faint scratching sound coming from outside her window. She tried to ignore it, but it kept getting louder and more insistent. She got out of bed and walked over to the window, and what she saw made her scream.
Standing outside her window was the same twisted, mangled creature that she had seen on the road. It was staring back at her with those glowing eyes, and it was scratching at the glass with its razor-sharp claws.
Sarah knew that she was trapped, and she knew that there was no way to escape. She could feel the creature's hot breath on her neck, and she could hear its low growling sound in her ear.
And then, suddenly, everything went dark. The creature had broken through the window and was dragging her away into the night. Sarah's screams echoed through the darkness, but no one was there to hear them.
The next morning, Sarah's roommate woke up to find her bed empty. She searched the apartment but found no trace of Sarah. She called the hospital where Sarah worked, but they said that she hadn't shown up for her shift.
The police were called, and they launched a search party to look for Sarah. They scoured the area around her apartment and the hospital where she worked, but there was no sign of her. It was as if she had vanished into thin air.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, but there was no sign of Sarah. Her family and friends were devastated, and they couldn't understand how she could have disappeared without a trace.
Years went by, and the case of Sarah's disappearance went cold. It remained a mystery, and no one knew what had happened to her. But some people whispered that it was the creature that had taken her, that it was still out there, waiting in the darkness for its next victim. And they warned each other to be careful on dark and stormy nights, for fear of encountering the same fate as Sarah.
