The Most Controversial Animation Had a Great Ending?

I never thought this YouTube series would end with a bang.

Analog horror has become quite popular on YouTube, and has gained a huge fanbase from many horror fans. Urbanspook's is considered to be the most disturbing analog horror ever made, due to its gruesome and graphic murders, that are being committed by two serial killers. The killers paint their victims, before or after their deaths, and this concept sparked a huge number of fans to check out the series.

The paintings are scary as hell, and really made the series stand out to me. But like me, a lot of fans were bothered by the gruesome ways that the people were killed in the series. This analog horror became known as 'shock value horror,' as each episode appeared to purposely test the limits of the viewers.

Nine episodes were released to this series, and while the last episode was still pretty disturbing, I thought it was somewhat better than the other parts of the series. Then the final episode was released on New Years Day, and we got a hell of a banger ending.

It left me impressed, and this ending gave me a completely different outlook on the series.

The two killers are eventually caught, and one of them is killed off in episode 9, leaving the final killer named Mona, to be captured by police. She is interrogated in the final episode, and we get a glimpse into her disturbed mind.

She explains to the policeman that her sidekick, Bill, was helping her with the murders. She claimed that she was being controlled by a 'machine,' that was making her commit all of the murders. She became possessed by the 'red man,' that used her body to paint, and to tell her who to kill next. There were also statues associated with the red man, and Mona claimed that she would see them wherever she went. She then confirms that the murders will never stop, after she is executed.

The irony is that she was killed the next day after the interview, getting killed by an inmate while she in prison.

You would think that the nightmare would end here, but it turns out that Mona was indeed correct.

The series ends with a shocking twist, with paintings being discovered across the entire world. Multiple people go missing, their names linked to the paintings that are found by authorities. And what's even terrifying, is that the authorities learn that the paintings were made by the same person...matching Mona's painting style and handwriting.

The series ends with multiple paintings being shown one by one, depicting all of the future victims, and we get one final painting of the red man, and it appears that he is pointing up, ending the final episode.

Ending the series with a supernatural twist really saved the series for me.

The thought of a possible cult being connected to the red man is freaking terrifying, knowing that the whole world is going to be targeted by gruesome monsters that are possessed by this supernatural entity.

The creator did confirm a while back that the series could end here, but now I'm hoping that he continues this messed up series. The machine sounds like such an intriguing storyline, and I think it would be so interesting if UrbanSpook could explore this concept further. It would be so cool to get a prequel to this series, explaining how this machine or red man came to be.

It would be a great idea for a possible continuation, and it appears that horror fans would love for the series to get more episodes in the future!
