Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Sarah who lived in a small town. She would often take the bus to school, but one day, as she was waiting for the bus at the stop, she noticed something strange. The bus was always on time, but it was now 30 minutes late.
As she waited, she saw a figure in the distance. It appeared to be a man, but he was unlike any man she had ever seen before. He was tall and thin, with long, stringy hair and a face that looked as if it had been stretched out of shape. He was wearing a long, dark coat and carried a black briefcase.
Sarah's heart began to race as the figure got closer and closer. She wanted to run, but her feet felt like they were glued to the ground. The figure stopped right in front of her and opened the briefcase. Inside, Sarah saw rows and rows of sharp, gleaming knives.
The figure reached out his hand and touched her face with a cold, bony finger. He whispered, "I've been waiting for you."
At that moment, the bus finally arrived and Sarah quickly got on, never looking back. But from that day on, she never took the bus again. She couldn't shake the feeling that the strange figure was still out there, waiting for her. And she knew that if she ever saw him again, she would be doomed.
After the incident, Sarah couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had taken hold of her. She couldn't sleep at night and was constantly on edge, always looking over her shoulder. She told her parents about the strange figure at the bus stop, but they brushed it off as her imagination.
But Sarah knew what she saw was real. She couldn't shake the image of the rows of knives in the briefcase, or the cold touch of the figure's finger on her face.
Days turned into weeks, and Sarah's fear only grew stronger. She stopped going to school and isolated herself from her friends and family. She was convinced that the figure was coming for her and that no one would believe her if she told them.
One night, as Sarah lay awake in bed, she heard a noise outside her window. She froze, her heart pounding in her chest. The noise grew louder and closer, until she could hear the sound of someone trying to open her window.
Sarah screamed and her parents came running into the room. But when they looked out the window, there was no one there. They tried to reassure her that it was just her imagination, but Sarah knew what she heard was real.
From that night on, Sarah never felt safe. She was convinced that the strange figure had found her and was watching her every move. She never left the house again, and eventually, she vanished without a trace. No one knows what happened to her, but some say that if you listen closely on a quiet night, you can still hear her screams coming from the darkness.
