The Ghostly Friend

Many people believe that ghosts are always malevolent, but that's not always the case. In fact, some ghosts can be quite friendly, and even helpful to the living.

This was the case with a ghost named Sarah. She had died many years ago, but her spirit remained in the old house where she had lived. Over time, she had grown lonely and bored, longing for the companionship of the living.

One day, a group of friends moved into the house, and Sarah was overjoyed. She watched them as they settled into their new home, observing their every move. She was particularly drawn to a girl named Lucy, who had a kind and open-hearted nature.

As the weeks went by, Sarah began to interact with the friends more and more. She would move objects around the house, making playful jokes and teasing them. At first, the friends were frightened, but soon they realized that Sarah meant them no harm. In fact, they started to enjoy her company, and looked forward to her ghostly antics.

Over time, the friends grew to love Sarah like a member of their own group. They would tell her about their lives, share their hopes and dreams, and even ask her for advice. Sarah would listen patiently, offering her own unique perspective on their problems.

One day, one of the friends, named Mike, was in a serious car accident. He was rushed to the hospital, and his friends were left waiting anxiously for news. Sarah was there with them, offering her support and comfort.

As they waited, Sarah began to feel a strange sensation. She could feel Mike's spirit calling out to her, asking for her help. She knew what she had to do.

With a burst of energy, Sarah flew to the hospital, where she found Mike lying unconscious in his hospital bed. She hovered over him, willing him to wake up and come back to the world of the living.

Slowly, Mike opened his eyes. He looked around, confused and disoriented. But then he saw Sarah, hovering over him like a guardian angel. He smiled, feeling a deep sense of gratitude and affection for the ghost who had saved his life.

From that day on, the friends' relationship with Sarah grew even stronger. As time went on, the group of friends became more and more attached to Sarah. One night, the friends decided to have a Halloween party. They decorated the house with spooky decorations and played scary movies on the TV. Sarah watched them from the shadows, amused by their antics.

As the night wore on, the friends started to play a game of Ouija board. They had never played it before, but they had heard that it was a way to communicate with spirits. They placed their fingers on the planchette and asked if anyone was there.

To their surprise, the planchette started to move on its own. It spelled out the letters S-A-R-A-H, and the friends looked at each other in shock. They had never thought that Sarah would be interested in playing a game like this.

But as they continued to play, something strange started to happen. The planchette started moving faster and faster, and the friends could feel a cold breeze blowing through the room. Suddenly, the candles flickered out, plunging the room into darkness.

The friends were frightened, but then they heard a voice. It was Sarah's voice, and it was coming from all around them. She told them not to be afraid, and that she was there to protect them.

The friends were amazed. They had never heard Sarah's voice before, but it was gentle and reassuring. They felt safe with her, even in the midst of a ghostly séance.

As the night wore on, the friends continued to talk to Sarah. They asked her about her life, and she told them stories about her childhood and her family. They laughed and joked, feeling closer to Sarah than ever before.
