The Cursed Clock
It was a dark, moonless night. On the longest corner of the village, the ruins of an old mansion - "Malik's House" stood next to an old banyan tree. Once a symbol of strength and prosperity, it is now merely an aging structure covered in grapes and dust. Despite the ruins, one of them remained unaffected - a wonderful antique wall clock. The villagers believed that the clock was cursed. They claimed that every night, strange whispers echoed through the abandoned hall as their hands lined up at 12th of 12. Some heard soft sobs, while others spoke about the horrifying laughter of showering on their spine. No one dared to go near the villa after it got dark.

Suman, a young man in the city, was always fascinated by old secrets. When he heard of the history of the cursed clock, he decided to reveal the truth. His friends in the village warned him, but curiosity ended him.
eerie silence surrounded the place. He hesitated for a moment, then gathered his courage and opened a rusty goal.
inside the
villa was frozen at a good time. The large furniture was covered in dust, the spider webs hanging down the ceiling, and the air smelled of moisture and rot. But the strangest sight was the clock - perfect in the middle of the main hall, ticking it as if it had never been aged.
A cold ran down Suman's spine.
- "How about that?" he muttered to himself.
3
Suddenly, all the windows were closed, but a cold windbunt swept the room. The clock was near midnight.
Suman felt how something had changed in the air. A strange pressure filled the room, as if an invisible force was watching it. He took out his notebook and was ready to write down his observations. But before he could get a pen on paper -
"Don...Don... Don... "
clock hit 12
as the final Bell was passing through the hallway. His flashlight flickered. His breath came on flat gas.
- "Who's there?" he called out, but there was no answer.
Instead, he asked for the steps. Slow and intentional steps.
and something has moved from the darkest corner of the hall.
4
A suspicious appearance has appeared. It was unclear how its shape swirls in the air. But his eyes - two hollow dark cavities - are placed in Suman.
Suman's heartbeat thundered in his ears. He wanted to run, but his body refused to move.
The figure spoke in 100 whisper-like voices -
"Why do you interfere with the past?"
Suman swallowed hard.
- "Who... who are you?" He stammered. As we looked closer, the temperature in the room fell into unbearable cold. "I used to be the security guard in this house." "I was betrayed. I was murdered. My blood stopped this clock. Now I'm back every night and back to get what was taken by me."
Suman wanted to believe it was just a story. But he knew deep inside - it was real.
5
The glass on the watch broke without warning. Screams - naturally painful - filled the house of manners. Shadow
extended and twisted, its shape shifted like a storm cloud. And just before Suman's eyes, the floor changed under the clock.
He saw the vision - a young man pulled into the hallway and screamed for mercy. He glared at the candlelight and saw the bloody knife on the surface of his watch. The air was filled with the echo of the breath of one last death.
Suman grabbed the air. His vision is blurry. He clung to his head, trying to hide the noise of his past.
Shadow whispered: "You saw it. Now you're part of it."
6
Panic seizing Sman. He had to run away!
He turned and ran to the door, but when he reached her - a van! The door struck itself.
A cold breeze ran around the Manor House. The shadows stretched along the wall, transforming into a terrible figure with dented eyes and gaps.
"I can't go."
Whispers died from anywhere.
Suman returned to his clock. He suddenly understood - the curse was not in the villa. If he destroys it, it was in the clock itself, he might break the curse.
7
whipped all of its courage, and Suman grabbed a heavy rod of iron from the ground. He raised it and wielded it with all his strength -
44 "Crack!"
grabbed the pendulum. The wood has split. The glass on the clock hit a thousand pieces.
Bloody screams from the shadows broke from the entire villa. The wall trembled. The floor was shaking beneath it.
The
Shadow hits violently before itself suddenly collapses, suppressing the broken ruins of the clock.
After that, everything was silent.
8
Suman opened his eyes and lay in the dusty soil. The sunlight flowed through the window. The air was choked once and now felt light and quiet.
But shocking - the watch is gone.
With unstable feet, he left the house of Manor and came across the bright morning light.
From that day on, Malik's house had remained silent. There are no whispers. I won't laugh. There are no steps at night. The village elders claimed that the curse had been released.
But Suman knew well.
Some secrets have not been resolved.
Because some truths will never be forgotten.
