Previous chapter, we left off with me in a daze at the flower sea. After a round of selfies, I unexpectedly discovered the terrifying face of a woman on the sunglasses in the photos. She haunts me like a nightmare, day and night. How am I supposed to get rid of her? And who is she? Find out in this chapter, "Terrifying Holiday Trip—The Favor of Wild Birds of Prey(Day Six)."

Nightmares followed me like a shadow. Holding my head, I had no idea how to escape this living hell. I couldn't get a ticket back to the city no matter what, so I could only move like a puppet, dragged along by my itinerary. Today's destination was the Wildlife Zoo. I heard that there were free-ranging tigers, lions, and wolves there. You absolutely couldn't roll down the car windows when driving through.

I don't know how I got off the little train, but all I remember is looking up to see the gaping jaws of a lion. At that moment, it felt like I had been transported to the real African savannah. The electric fences were gone, and the tourists had vanished. All that was left were countless ferocious beasts chasing me. They toyed with their prey, chasing me at a leisurely pace. I ran frantically, tears and mud mixing together. For the first time, I realized I had such incredible stamina.

"Run! Run! Haha~ If you don't run, you'll end up like me, food for their jaws." I don't know which corner I fell at, but suddenly I heard a familiar voice—it was my own. I turned around, and somehow, countless versions of me had become food for those beasts. The one closest to me had her lower body torn off by a male lion. She dragged her intestines on the ground, shouting at me. Looking around, some had their eyes pecked out, their nerves still connected to their brains; others had their hearts ripped out; some were torn in half; and others were full of holes. But there was only one of me left intact—me, sitting in the middle, splattered with blood.

"Ah~~ Ahh~ Aaaah~ Ah~"

If you've never been surrounded by fear, perhaps you wouldn't understand how I felt. In a daze, it seemed like even I had become incomplete. Did it hurt? I don't know. I don't know when I saw that thin, old wolf, limping towards me with its open fangs reeking of decay.

I don't know how many times I was torn apart, but my consciousness remained clear. I was numb and couldn't scream anymore. I had no sense of smell or pain, but I could keenly hear the sound of my bones being crushed and feel the tearing of my muscles. I watched my body become mutilated, leaving only my head, which rolled to the edge of a pool, staining the water red. That beautiful color was just like the sea I had seen that night—the blood-red sea.
