Telephone Ghost

Once upon a time, there was a small town in the countryside where people used to live a peaceful and contented life. However, there was a mysterious old telephone booth that stood at the corner of the main street, abandoned and unused for years.

The story goes that a young woman had committed suicide in that booth many years ago after being abandoned by her lover. Her spirit was said to still haunt the place, unable to find peace. The townspeople, of course, dismissed this as mere superstition.

One day, a young couple named Jenny and Mike moved into the town and decided to make the abandoned telephone booth their new office space. They were starting a small business and wanted a quiet and private place to work.

As they started setting up their office, strange things began to happen. The telephone booth would ring at odd hours, even though there was no connection to any phone line. The phone would ring for a few seconds before abruptly stopping, leaving Jenny and Mike spooked and unnerved.

At first, they thought it was some kind of prank, but soon realized that the calls were coming from an unknown number. When they tried to trace the number, it led to a dead end. The more they tried to investigate, the more they became convinced that there was something unnatural about the calls.

As the days passed, the strange happenings increased. The phone would ring continuously, and when they picked up, they would hear nothing but static on the other end. They would also hear whispers and moans, which seemed to be coming from a distance.

One night, as they were working late, the phone started ringing again. But this time, they heard a voice. It was a woman's voice, distant and melancholic. It was as if the voice was trying to tell them something, but they couldn't understand what it was saying.

The couple was now terrified and didn't know what to do. They knew they had to leave the booth and find a new office space, but they were too scared to even step outside. They were convinced that the spirit of the woman who had committed suicide was haunting them.

And some say that the spirit of the woman still haunts the town, seeking revenge on those who cross her path.
