Goblin Bites: Scary Stories 15
There was one story I heard a long time ago, that I honestly don't know really happened or not. It is a very sad story, to begin with, but I will try to do it justice and recount it to the best of my memory. You have been warned, and I will not judge you should you decide to stop reading here. For those more curious souls, I will continue.

Goblin Bites: Scary Stories 13
Jim and Lois had been driving all day. They were traveling cross-country from their home in Pittsburgh to visit Lois's ailing Great-Aunt Ida in Santa Fe. Sure, they could've flown (it certainly would have been quicker) but Jim had a crippling fear of flying. Both of them figured a little road trip would be fun; it gave them a chance to unwind upon the open road, and get reacquainted with each other. Although they had been married for almost five years now, neither of them recently seemed to have the time to just sit down and talk anymore with their individual busy schedules.

The Green Guardian
"Hey, Sarge, look." Hank looked up from his phone and saw that one of the Inmates had raised a scarecrow in front of the leaf pile they'd been making. He was unsurprised to find that it was Jasper. Jasper had always been more of a talker than a worker, and today it was clear that his rake hadn't seen much use. He had come across an old green button-up shirt and stuffed it with leaves, making the body bulge oddly. He'd put a sack head on top to complete the ugly golem and drawn a crude scarecrow face on the front. The whole works had been stuck on top of a broken rake handle and stuck in the ground before the ever-growing leaf pile. It hung there like a silent guardian as the inmates raked their piles closer and closer to the growing mound.

The Dust Man
Tabitha Longheart was something of a perfectionist, keeping all of her belongings in perfect order. Her locker at Liberty High School was immaculate as was her car. Her parents never questioned her habits, although they sometimes joked and gave her a hard time, to them this was simply how Tabby was and would always be.

The Curse of The Blood Countess
"I have had many names…" Fires raged beneath her feet, men in red robes wearing golden crucifixes and shouting indistinct obscenities and words which translated to "witch" and "heretic" stood before her, having lit said fire under the stake and pyre on top of which she stood, bloodied, bruised, dressed in but rags and barefoot, tied to the massive wooden spire. They spat at her, they laughed and reveled in her last burning moments. Villagers looked on, half amused, half horrified, and in their ranks was a young woman with tears streaming down her eyes, mouthing something like "I'm sorry" in vain. The woman shouted and let out a blood curdling shriek of agony and hatred, a vocalization so fearsome the men in red shook a moment and proceeded to hail Mary. Before her last breath, the woman howled what, to the villagers, sounded like a curse, but was actually a promise, or a threat.

Goblin Bites: Scary Stories 12
In a little town known as Luthersville, Georgia, there's a little old brick building that not many people give a second glance. It's peeling white paint-covered facade holds a long, somewhat tragic history however. The plain little building was once the Luthersville county hospital, and later in its life was converted into a school building for adult learners. Today, though, the building stands vacant... or at least, it appears that way to the living.
