Blue Moonlight Part Fourteen: A Banshee of a Time
Emily's chest rose up and down, Johnny’s death taking its toll on me. He was a dick and irritating, but he sacrificed himself to save all of us. Elania probably took it the hardest, her fight with Emily proved that. Walking over to Elania, I sat down across from her. Resting my hands on my knees, my suit was filthy. Fixing my hair, Shadows was sleeping behind her. His body still looked broken, his wounds still healing. Shame dimmed her eyes, her lips pressing into a thin line.

Ana Philaxis & The Chokers #1
The stench of cigarettes always reminded her of the best nights she'd been out and about. That and the smell of charcoal grills. You knew it was going to be a good time when you smell that. Smells like a night of debauchery and promise.

The Beldam And The Little Girl
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. Yeah, yeah I know you’ve read thousands of stories that start this way and you’re thinking “how cliche,” but it is what happened. I’ll start at the beginning. It was spring break. Myself, and my friends, Stephen, Mary, Alexa, and Madeline (Maddie) had just handed in our midterm essays for our "Paranormal and Theories of The Occult” class at the local college. We had all met in that class and bonded over our love of the paranormal and Cryptozoology. Becoming close friends, I was actually dating Mary at the time, we all loved to go out to haunted locations looking for ghosts or hunt for cryptids wherever there were reports. Wether we believed in these creatures or not it was fun to travel to these locations and look around.

The Arrival of the Welder Gheist
Today started out pretty weird and only got weirder. We'd been out of the woods for about a week, my legs finally feeling less wobbly, and I was set to putting everything back to rights. Having been gone about three days, the dust had taken over again, and the house needed to be aired out. Grandpa had helped with the cleaning as much as he could, and now the house is back to its usual presentable state.

"The Innocents" Review
As kids, we often dream of having “super powers”, but what would happen if children really did have supernatural abilities? Young Ida is astonished when her non-verbal autistic sister Anna is suddenly communicative–through a psychic link with a neighbor no less. This supernatural horror stays tense throughout as the cast of kids discover what they’re capable of. Although the chain of events in this film may be slow going, there are key events throughout that define the tone and keep the viewer on edge–you're not sure what’s going to happen, but you can guess it is not good.

A Birthday Omen
About 14 percent of people die on their birthday. That's a pretty staggering statistic for an occasion that is meant to be celebratory. The phenomenon has got a name, it's called the 'birthday effect'. But, what accounts for such a significant uptick in deaths? A quick search will reveal that for both men and women, the cause is different. For women, it's heart attack and stroke. But for men, it's suicide and accidents.
