Mind games taken way too far; explore the disturbing genre of psychological thrillers that make us question our perception of sanity and reality.
It Started on a Train—Part One
He sat there like any other day, numb, trying to distance himself from the dull humps of flesh that were packed into the train like so many sardines stuffed in a humid stale can. He could feel contempt rising in his throat every time one of them touched him. It was nauseating to feel their bodies brush his. He absolutely despised people but this was important work.

Choose Them Wisely
The signing up process was scaringly smooth. After filling in my profile details, I quickly scrolled down through the terms and conditions. I’m a businesswoman. I don’t have time for that. I was just one click away to getting automated and personalised posts. Well, one click and one pill. I must admit that the whole pill thing put me off a little. But all my colleagues had already been in the social network for a while and I couldn’t afford to be left behind. After all, it’s crucial to have a decent online presence, and if it was all a matter of swallowing a pill, I wasn’t going to chicken out. The purple pill gave me a stabbing headache for a week. Every little thing would irritate me and I was struggling to get through the days, but I couldn’t be off work for something like that. Yes, it was a bit of a nightmare, but I’ve had it worse. How could I be so naive? The worst was yet to come…

Nightmare Journal: Ribs
Homophobia, in my opinion, can be shown in many ways. It doesn’t matter if it’s the smallest trace of inequality, if it’s there, it’s a homophobic tendency at the least, and nothing pisses me off more than homophobia still happening in the year 2019. There are no excuses. Especially when it’s coming from my mom. Throughout the years, my brothers have had various girlfriends, all of which have been allowed to sleepover whenever they pleased, which happened to be more often than not. Now, I was never the one to date much, but when I had my first serious boyfriend, my mom could have cared less that he slept over. She barely knew his name, but he had all the same bedroom rights as my brothers' girlfriends have had, so when I got my first serious girlfriend, I thought the rules would remain the same. I was mistaken.

Scientology
This is a part of my 31 posts of creepy. To me, anything cult or cult-like is very creepy. Scientology has been around for years, but has gained popularity and press with all the famous people who are involved with it, or have left the "church." I didn't find any mention of God until I watched a couple of videos on their website. In their mention of God, it was less about the worship of God and more of just an acknowledgement that He exists and created the universe. They really don't force or require anyone to believe in anything.

Adreena's Practice
It must be said I don't expect this story in any way to be believed. That being so, it doesn't trouble me one way or another. I'm not hoping to convince anyone or solicit any kind of sympathy. I'm only hoping that the act of writing will provide me with some kind of catharsis. Some way of processing everything I've seen. Maybe by the time I'm finished I'll have escaped from this... moral terror, that I've been feeling.
