The Taken
When the rains come, the howls ascend like rancid fire. It begins with one or two and then spreads like a fire amongst them all. Like wolves calling in the hills, but without unity or purpose. Wild vocalizations without control, like a rage forced through damp chords of flesh crushed from them by an unseen hand. A haunted bellow of something utterly lost. A nothing calling to nothing.

Clockwork Heart
"My Dearest, I no longer remember the date, and I have written countless entries to you. Honestly, I am beginning to doubt we will ever be reunited, but I hold onto the dregs of hope that one day I will hand you this ragged diary and hang your necklace around that lovely neck of yours once more. Perhaps on that day, you will decide you do not care to read through the miseries I have traversed since our parting just before the H Day when everything went to hell. If you do... I will not apologize for the actions I have taken, regardless of how cruel or morally disgusting they may be. Every action, every fight and struggle, has been to get back to you my dearest heart. My only regret is not being by your side to offer you whatever shelter and protection I could in those chaotic early days. I hope you are safe. I hope to find you soon, slim as the chances are. I will not stop searching until I find you or my last breath.

Brute Force
Some people say that you have to see it to believe it. At the moment when legend becomes reality in a first person sense, that is when some of the greatest memories are born. When the foundation of beliefs are created by facts and testimonies, blending together to create some of the greatest, passed down story telling one can encounter. Especially when you get to relive the story for yourself. What you're about to read is a rendition of a story that was told to me, then confirmed by my own testimony. It's been a story told and re-told by myself to my own children and friends around the campfire.

Dying Light
I rub my eyes to get the sleep out. The air is smokey around me and I can see tiny dust particles from the small stream of light coming through the crack in the wall. Everything is boarded up to keep them out. And that is how it will have to stay. Darkness has become my friend.

Heartbr💔ken
They were everywhere....the infected....a direct result of the novel N-2031 virus mixed with nuclear fallout. Who knew trying to eradicate the virus with a tactical nuclear device would not only level the city but also cause the already deadly virus to mutate almost instantly and spread with the fallout. The effects of the fallout were soon global in the form of the infected. These infected are almost pitch black, like unburnt charcoal, with glowing green radiated blood and eyes all side effects of the blast. They hunger. Hunger for the flesh of those surviviors that still remain. It is never sated, they never tire and the only way to stop them is sever trauma to the brain. They are extremely fast and agile and tend to stick to the shadows hunting in packs, seemingly materializing from the shadows as if they themselves were made of them. The squad moved down the street of some town without a name, quickly and efficiently checking doors and alleyways for any infected. Its been 20 years since the bombs and the end of the world. There are still pockets of surviors here and there, their broadcasts heard over the radio channels. Within one group there is said to be a scientist who's blood contains the cure. Its a far fetched hope at best but for the members of the Revival squad it is enough. They are tasked with locating this scientist and bringing her to The Ark, a state of the art facility which houses thousands of survivors and scientists. It is...was...the top secret military facility and ground zero for the N-2031 outbreak, the facility is well lit which seems to keep the infected at bay as light of any kind hurts them. The squad makes its way into what looks to be a shopping mall, or what used to be a shopping mall. This is where the last transmission came from but that was days ago. The squad makes its way to the second floor still being vigilant, but not vigilant enough, suddenly the infected are everywhere. Revival squad is firing wildly in all directions in a panic induced frenzy, all training out the window in favor of self preservation. There are to many....they are gonna die here. The squad leader watches as his men are cut to ribbons until he is the only one that remains. The last thing he sees before he collapses under a pile of radioactive flesh...before the pain starts...is a heart shaped locket, the one he gave to his wife all those years ago,it is the last he sees before she begins to feast.

Jimmy Starling’s adventures into the Unknown ( Part 1 )
I still remember that day.. I was running around the streets of Paterson. The street lights were not working for some reasons, resulting in almost a pitch black night. I was really afraid, cause I knew something was following me, I didn’t know what it was yet but I knew it was evil.

7 Days
I had just finished writing my new murder mystery novel 'Suffer, I Dare You', and I was going to go celebrate, when the phone rang. I picked up the phone and asked who it was. They replied with “you have 7 days”. I quickly put down the phone because everybody knows that they are hoaxes. I decided to go to sleep.

Lust: The Vampires Story
I watched her from the shadows, unknown to her. I had been watching her for many days, but she had no idea. She was beautiful, dark hair, gorgeaus breasts, strong body and a neck that I wanted to sink my teeth into. I didn't see her eyes as I watched her, because she had her back turned to me. I was sat at the top of a tree at the start of the thick woodland across from her house, out of mind, out of sight. I always knew she was around, because her sweet scent would fill my senses like the smell of food to a human, especially the sweet sugary iron smell of her blood. No human would understand what blood smells like to a vampire, to us it is an aphrodisiac, as addictive as the taste of red wine is to a human. Blood is our food, appetizing and satisfying, but the blood from a gorgeaus attractive woman is unlike the taste of any other blood a vampire can get. She was 18 years old, young, fresh, just like tender fresh juicy meat bought from a butcher. My vampire nose can smell the scent of sweet blood from miles away, it is a smell like no other, especially when mixed with lust. It is the most dangerous scent a human can spread, even if they don't know what lurks in the dark.
