She thought it was just a silly rumor, so she decided to investigate. she drove down the empty road. It was silent, except for the sound of her car’s engine. The trees on both sides looked like dark figures watching her. Suddenly, her headlights flickered, and the engine Stopped. She tried turning the key, but the car wouldn’t start. Then, she saw something ahead. A all, thin figure stood in the distance. It didn’t move. Its glowing red eyes stared directly at her. Then, she heard a whisper—cold and clear. Turn back… leave now Shreya quickly turned around, but no one was there Yet, she could feel something breathing behind her. A Stranger in the Car Her hands shook as she grabbed her phone, but it was **dead she tried opening her car door And froze. There was someone sitting in the driver’s seat. A woman. Her skin was burn theace twisted into a terrible smile. Her empty eye sockets bled Shreya gasped. The woman tuned her head sharply bones cracking, and whispered You shouldn’t have come here. Shreya ran Lost Forever As she ran, the road changed the trees disappeared. Everything was covered in thick fog. A soft crying sound came from the mist. She turned and saw a girl in a white dress sitting on the ground, rocking back and forth. Shreya whispered, who are you The girl slowly lifted her head. Her rotting face was covered in worms. I came here just like you... I never left. Shreya’s heart pounded. She tried to run, but cold fingers grabbed her wrist Stay with us... he girl whispered. Darkness swallowed her. The Last Recording The next morning, the police found Shreya’s car abandoned on the highway. She was nowhere to be found. Inside the car, they discovered a voice recorder Only one thing was on it. Shreya’s shaking voice, whispering: They’re coming they won’t let me go help me. Even today, if you drive that road at midnight, you might hear a whisper. Turn back before it’s too late.
