fiction
Horror fiction that delivers on its promise to scare, startle, frighten and unsettle. These stories are fake, but the shivers down your spine won't be.
Mama's home
damn it damn it damn it James paced and paced back and forth, swearing and cursing the entire time, much to his daughter's dismay. She could not escape her father's ramblings in the confined space they shared, so she settled for backing herself as far into the wall as she could, making herself small in the process.

The Book of Vines
Fate is cruel, it is a disaster to all who face it. It will never forget and it is not forgiving. The soul of my very being shivers at the thought, the cold breeze flowing past me doesn’t really help the mood of the situation either. In amidst of all this pondering, I stand upon a grave. A grave of horror and sadness, what remained of what was my childhood best friend. She was beautiful; a kind, strong-hearted girl who wouldn’t let anything stop her. All must come to end, some early and some not. This was her fate, her story... Her very being all into this one tale that ends in a cliche tragedy that would still shed a tear to anyone hearing her story.

Infected
It’s been 6 months since the city was taken over every window boarded up to keep out the hoards, ever since the virus hit the world hasn’t been the same, people called it the zombie virus at first, but they’re not zombies not really, the victim is still alive, they still talk, drive cars, still use guns. They are not zombies, they’re worse, they call themselves the evolved, but anyone not infected would never call it that. The plague was thought to have been started in a lab breach they said it over and over again on the news, but everyone has their theories some say it was made by man for bio-weapons and it back fired horribly. Some say it was the work of God, I don’t believe in God not any more. The infected are aggressive, have no impulse control and typically have other infections and smell like rotting meat, some get infections so bad that the infection eats away at their skin they are known to bite people intentionally infecting them, its mob rule on the streets, the infected hunt human’s who refuse to be infected down, but worst of all are the ones who go cannibalistic they get another disease to boot, and though they can still walk and talk they can’t think straight they are they most aggressive of all they attack anyone not infected. I’ve lost my family, my mom and dad went out to get us supplies and never came back, all I found of my mom was her blood stained clothes and her locket, the gold heart shaped one my dad gave her for the anniversary two months before the plague began. I found my parents wedding rings that’s all that is left of them, my brother is missing, I fear the worst for him.

Hogweed
Bits of debris and gravel crunch under my feet. The sound of scraping, squeaking and dragging fills my ears, and sulfur and decay fill my nostrils, yet it’s eerily quiet. There’s a sprawl of both human and animal bones, mixed in various states of decay, as if only half ground and churned meat—a flesh and bone salad. I hear the clink of my locket, heart shaped, the only remanence of family I have left, and yet bits of humanity are splashed everywhere, reminding me of what once was.

“Oral” Sex
Do you know what I did? I stuck a paper clip into the cavity in my tooth. It was black and smelled of dinner I had over two weeks ago. Have you ever had the reluctancy to feel pain as it radiates through every nerve ending in your body? I did; feeling something as dull as such was a fit punishment. All I did was pull out decayed food that was brown with a tinge of black. I stood in the bathroom, looking at my reflection in the mirror.
