Leviathan
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. Abe was awoken sharply by the cold saline in his veins, and the crippling migraine of cryo sleep. The pale white lights of the cruisers sleep bay pierced his dry eyes, as he struggled to open them. Delirious - he lumbered and stumbled towards the stainless steel medical cabinet, the cryo breather still strapped to his face. In a half blind daze he ripped it off, pillaging the cabinet for any narcotic ambrosia to numb the pain.

Anthology of the End
It wasn't long before the end now. Gareth looked out of his kitchen window while he sipped tepid tea from the mug in his trembling hand. The warning had come across the emergency network twenty minutes ago while he had been reading the morning paper and getting ready for work, that all seemed to be inconsequential now. Incoming, the message had read, it seems the folks in charge had been unable to solve things diplomatically. Taking another sip from his rapidly cooling brew his mind wandered to the unfinished work file on his desk, what a silly little thing to be worried about now of all times he thought. He absently contemplated calling his boss and telling him that he would unfortunately be unable to get the report to his desk by 5pm, the absurdity of the idea made him audibly laugh. The sound died in his throat as the world was suddenly lit by a second sun on the horizon, typical he thought glancing down at his half full mug, couldn't even finish a good breakfast anymore. It was the last thought Gareth ever had as a mere second later the shockwave of the nuclear bomb seared all traces of him from the face of the planet.

The haunting of the S.P.I.R.I.T
Jacob was now back in his hometown of Bismarck, North Dakota where he had made the decision to quit school and do something he enjoyed. He teamed up with his best friend Tif, and another close friend of his named James, the three of them formed the paranormal group, Midwest S.P.I.R.I.T, with Jacob as the lead investigator. The team actually had some success in investigating quite a few well known places throughout the upper Midwest, including the location of The Battle of Little Big Horn, or Custer's Last Stand, as it was commonly referred to, when Custer guided his men from the plains of North Dakota into Montana.
