Chronicles of Red
Entry Red Hood July 1, 2050 Prologue It’s been 25 years since the bombs fell or as we call it now “Light Of God” destroyed life as we knew it. It did all the damage that was predicted. What we didn’t expect was it would open random portals or as we call them “Windows with No View”, to another planet or universe….we don’t really know. We couldn’t see through these “Windows”, since these idiots destroyed the world they also destroyed almost all of the technology, so no drones, robots etc. So they had to send human Scouts through the “Windows” to satisfy curiosity. After a few hundred of their best scouts went through and none of them returned, they stopped and put security areas around these Windows. What we do know is what was on the other side had been watching us for a long time and they had plans for us.

A horrific story of my grandfather served in the Vietnam War
Hello everyone, I hope you're ready for chapter 3. I have a collection of the creepiest tales found on the internet. Do you think you can handle them, or are you too scared? I guess we'll see. Let's journey further into this series. My grandfather told me a story about his time in Vietnam. Written by Jaybird RS, my grandfather served in the Vietnam War. I was always fascinated by his time in the service, but my mother instructed me not to ask him about it from a young age. I never did, but he would bring up little bits and pieces from time to time. It wasn't often though. My grandfather was a kind, yet strict man. My grandmother told me that he was a laid-back and calm man before the war, but afterwards he became the old-hearted man that I knew growing up. I distinctly remember playing with military toys as a kid, and he just walked in and shook his head, saying it wasn't like that. What I'm trying to say is that, although I love my grandfather, he can be a cold man sometimes, and I don't blame him. I didn't see the horrors that he saw, and time has taken a toll on my grandfather. All these years of smoking have finally caught up with him, and for the last few weeks he's been in a hospital on his deathbed. The cancer has spread from his lungs to the rest of his body. I've been spending a lot of time beside his bed, just keeping him company or watching TV with him. Recently, he has been telling stories - some about his childhood, raising my mother, old school friends - while others, and more importantly, have been about his time in Vietnam.

White Knight
It seemed like every year, Kyle looked forward to snow. Living in North Georgia, he usually found his front yard full of the stuff sometime after Thanksgiving. Kyle fondly remembered the year a blizzard blew in days before Halloween, and they had to Trick or Treat in the snow. Kyle's Batman costume quickly got upgraded with a puffy jacket and some ski boots with snowshoes as he became some obscure snow Batman that his mom had found on one of those little toy check sheets Kyle had pinned on his wall. Kyle loved the snow and would spend hours playing outside, making forts, and having snowball fights with his friends. He only really came in if his parents made him, and only then until he warmed up enough to go back out.

Sheltered
The outside world was unknown to her, but she could see a glimpse of it through the window in his room. She was never expressly forbidden from looking through that window, but her father had warned her all her life: "Rosita, I don't wish to hide the truth but it is terrible. You may look out my window, but you will not like what you see."

The Window
The outside world was unknown to her, but she could see a glimpse of it through the window in his room. The room was dry, dark, and oddly drafty. It held artifacts and antiques of shapes and sizes that hinted at a past of artisans and historians. The smooth, intricate patterns were marvelous to behold, but she dared not show them to anyone besides her husband. They would be punished severely if anyone in their community found out they had even a small collection of antiques, let alone one this size.
