Go Ask Alice
Introduction This story is for the Vocal "Broken Mirror" Challenge which you can read about below. The mirror showed a reflection that wasn't my own, not surprising because the silvering on the back of the glass was very worn and flaking, so I just saw a shadow reflected there. The glass was covered in hairline cracks so the actual mirror would have to be replaced, but the frame was what had drawn me to it.

The Cursed Toy Factory
It was a dark and stormy night, and the old toy factory sat empty at the edge of town. The factory had been closed for years, but the locals still whispered about the strange occurrences that had taken place there. There were rumors of toys coming to life, of strange noises coming from the factory at night, and of the ghost of the former owner haunting the premises.

Daoist is not to be messed with
There is a Taoist temple in the deep mountains, and there are only one old man and two young Taoist priests in the temple. The old Taoist priest, whose name is Ziqing, was leaving the mountain on this day, and before he left, he left a talisman for his young disciple, Mingxin. The old Taoist priest instructed his disciple: "After I go down, you will paste the talisman in the temple, the whole Taoist temple and the surrounding Taoist temple can be invisible. This time, I am going to find an enemy, you remember not to go out of the mountain, wait for my return. If this talisman is damaged, it means that I am in danger, you quickly pack your bag and run for your life, leave me alone."

Broken Mirror
The mirror showed a reflection that wasn't my own. A middle aged lady looked back at me. Like me she had salt and pepper hair , but unlike me she seemed to glow. Her necklace said forever. She turned her head towards me and I saw her kiss a middle aged dark haired man. They kissed repeatedly. They seemed not to notice me. No man stood behind me. I was slightly shaken, was she apart of me? Was she who I could have been if I had made different choices. I finished getting ready, purposely avoiding all the mirrors in my apartment. It was supposed to be a good day, at least according to my date book, lunch at Roar with friends., taco Tuesday. I had a margarita with my tacos, trying to forget my morning. The people in my mirror were not present in our lunch party. I chatted mindlessly about movies and sports. I kept hoping that some one would suggest a date for me. I was meant to have a forever and a good looking man to kiss me. I went to the outing solo and left it solo.

Introduction about Vampires : For many centuries, nearly every culture in the world has been told stories about supernatural beings eating the flesh or blood of the living. In ancient times, the term "vampire" did not exist. Demons or spirits, who ate flesh and drank blood, were said to engage in similar behaviors like drinking blood. Even the devil was thought to be the same as the vampire. Pretty much every culture partners blood drinking with a revenant or devil of some sort or another, or at times a divinity.
