A Bite to Remember
One night while my family and I were driving home a huge storm hit and made it very hard to see. We were on vacation. My mom Karen, dad John, older brother Tyler, cousins Candice and Darrick and I were all piled in the car. As we drove along through a wooded area, Tyler and Candice had started arguing. Tyler and Candice always argued. They were both the oldest in their families, but Candice was older then Tyler by about 4 years. That didn't stop Tyler from thinking he should always get his way. Tyler was short for his age, in fact I was taller then him even though he was 2 years older, but mom and dad were trying to help him with that. Tyler was going to be starting hormone therapy shots to help him grow. His brown hair was in what him and dad called a "buzz cut" hair style, he had a round chubby face and round metal framed glasses. Candice was a skinny girl. She had long brown hair that went to her shoulder blades. Just like always, she had a head band in her hair, this time it was purple. As I looked back at them in the back seat fighting, I rolled my eyes and thought, "I wish they would shut up. They are giving me a head ache." Beside me is my cousin Darrick. Like usual, Darrick is sitting quietly and just staring out the window at the storm. Mysterious are weird are words I would use to describe Darrick. He didn't talk much and didn't really like to play much either. He was my age. We were born about 3 months apart, but he had no interest in toys. Darrick liked catching bugs and snakes and other critters like that and blowing them up with firecrackers. Tyler liked to go with him at times. Even though I don't like bugs or snakes, I never liked that they blew them up. It was wrong and mean in my opinion. In front of me was my mom. In my opinion she has never changed in how she looks. The age I can remember is 30, and even today(20 years later) she still looks the same. Mom's hair was dark brown and shoulder length that she kept in a ponytail most of the time. Mom and I had a love of music. I loved going on trips with her(even if it was just to the store) because we would turn the music up really loud and just sing and dance! It was always so much fun! Driving the car was my dad. He was a tall man with short dark brown, almost black, hair that he always covered with a hat. He was wearing his teams baseball hat. It was white with a big purple 11 on the front and the words "film at" in yellow above the 11. Dad still played baseball with community people around where he worked. He was a good ball player and knew a lot about sports in general. Mom and dad were discussing what we should do.

Maggot
Topo grabbed the corpse roughly by the shoulder and turned it on its side. The blood, already drying, made a ripping sound as the body was separated from the cheap plastic cover on the couch. Viscous strands of it still connected the dead man to his furniture. Topo inserted a dirty forefinger into one of the sixteen knife wounds he’d helped inflict and explored until he scraped a rib. He grunted in satisfaction.

Retracing the Vaults
It’s the dead of night dark clouds covering all light from the fireflies of the sky. The branches sticking out like the crippled dead fingers of witches all pointed in different directions. The Hospital long abandoned the screaming of the dead still echoing through the halls. From the outside, it looked busy lights flickering every few seconds, and as he stopped the windows filled with shadows almost staring at him. Jon knew the only way to help his family was in this abandoned hospital in the middle of the wood. As he stared, the shadows seemed to stop moving and stare at him. He shrugged it off as a trick of the light and kept moving. Jon hears a static echo through the hospital he made sure to study the open waiting area around him looking at the reception desk abandoned with labeled notes and papers spread across the desks around him in the lobby. As he progressed through the entrance he noticed the smell change, it was no longer sickly clean, instead, an uncomfortable stingy smell closed around him with mold and that of the undead.

My reality
Have you ever wondered why you're alive? What your purpose in life is. I use to wonder that every day till one day it finally smacked me in the face. It literally put a fist in my jaw. You see I'm not human, well not anymore. I haven't been a human in over 500 years. This is my story of how my brother and I were taken from our family and turned into monsters.

The Cold Ones
Darkness creeps over the icy tundra as hundreds of thousands of unique snowflakes fall onto a family of six trekking through the blizzard-covered ground. Squinting through the icy sheet of snow in front of her face, Gabrielle trudges through the inches of powder on the ground. Following closely behind her are her father, mother, brother and 2 cousins. Gabrielle fruitlessly shakes the freezing flakes off of her face as her father comes up beside her.

Divina & the Syphoner's Mark Ch.2
I had woken up about half-way through the ride. The total drive took roughly two hours, and the closer we seemed to get to Healing Springs, the less I could control my anxiety. Panic had almost turned into hyperventilation by the time we pulled to a stop. I closed my eyes and forced myself to breathe through my nose until the panic died down.

It Lurks
The day was January 13, 1982. I was camping with my friends; Emily, Dalton, Irene, and me, Melina. Emily, she's the type of gal that is a hardcore athlete. She's this tall, fit lady with long blonde hair that is always put up in a hair tie and a stereotypical athletes headband with a soccer ball stitched in the middle of it. I've never seen her once without it. God I hope she washes it.
