Alive horror movie review
The rushes come irregularly in Il Cho’s “#Alive,” a zombie film that would stand apart quite a lot more assuming it had even a tiny bit of character, or a turn to add to the realistic custom of zombie apocalypses. All things considered, “#Alive” just reels from unremarkableness, and regardless of an interesting portrayal of one man isolating from a destructive infection, the blood-shrouded zombies are substantially more enjoyable to watch.

The Pale Blue Eye | Movie Review
A movie viewer seeking a respite from the harsh winter may not desire more on-screen winter gloom. "The Pale Blue Eye" by Scott Cooper and featuring Christian Bale, set in 1830s rugged Hudson Valley, New York, does not shy away from the theme of bleak midwinter. Cinematographer Masanobu Takayanagi beautifully captures the grayscale with occasional bursts of blue from West Point Military Academy's cadet uniforms and nearby waterways. The movie primarily takes place at the then-young academy.

M3GAN | Review
The marketing strategy for the upcoming film "M3gan" has focused on highlighting the uncanny appearance of the title character, a four-foot-tall cyborg with big doe eyes, a ratty wig, and the wardrobe of a closeted lesbian headmistress in a '50s melodrama. This approach appears to be working, as Blumhouse - known for their ability to generate buzz - has generated significant interest in the film, which is set to be released in early January. However, the film's writer, Akela Cooper, could have taken a different approach, as she is also known for her work in the horror genre, including writing the script for the viral hit "Malignant" and being brought on to develop a sequel for "The Nun" and writing "M3gan" from a story by herself and James Wan.
