It’s a grey afternoon as Jack Forester rowed his boat in the great sea, North of England. He knew a storm would be shortly coming in but he has been wanting to go fishing all summer - why would I turn back now? He thought as he looked towards the shore which is miles away from where his boat is sitting. His goal is to catch at least 6 dozen fish and planned to stay as long as he could for the last 3 dozen needed. As he brought up another Codfish, Jack saw something pale in the corner of his eye slightly below the surface of the grey lake. He put down his rod and leaned over his boat, trying to make the sight of what is floating below his boat. It looked rotted as it floated around the water. Some sort of green ooze swarmed the unknown object.

Waves started rolling in slowly and Jack's boat rocked. He sighed as he shook his head, convincing himself he is just seeing things. As Jack stubbornly decided to pack up his things when he saw the storm coming in, something bumped his boat which caused Jack to stumble down on his bottom. Hoping it was a big fish, he fumbled with the line on his fishing rod and before he could cast his line, a look of horror had struck his face. Jack couldn’t believe what he saw floating in the water! He leaned closer to see it and let out a moan of horror as he saw another. And another. And another. He grabbed his radio from his shorts pocket and pulled off his fishing cap in respect of the dead bodies he sees all around him.

“Hello.” He spoke into the radio. “I need someone to call the police...there are about 5 -” he paused. “No 6-wait there are 8 bodies around my boat!” Jack’s radio cut in and out, he couldn’t make out anything he heard. “Hello?”Jack yelled into his radio. “Hello!?” Jack didn’t want to wait for his reception to come clear as he knew that would take a few hours. The storm is coming in closer and the waves are getting stronger. Jack knew he had to get back to shore. He grabbed his ores and tried to row his boat - but he was stuck. His boat won’t budge. It won’t turn or move or anything. He is stuck in the middle of the lake with dead bodies everywhere. Jack became in a panic, resisting to look under his boat to see what is holding his boat in place. That is when another bump hits the bottom of his boat, this time nearly pushing Jack out of it but he had managed to hold onto the edge. To his fear, Jack came face to face with a decapitated skull. One eyeball is clearly infected while the other is missing as pieces of the eyeball hung around the socket.

Jack screamed and fell backwards as another big bump hit his boat again, this time flipping Jack’s boat, causing him to fall into the water with a dozen bodies. Then he saw another dozen appear. And another. The bodies grew in number to how many fish he had caught today. Jack was paralyzed with fear at first then his survival instinct caught on when he saw a woman - who looked dead - swim up to him, and be pushed by all the other dead bodies. Jack screamed underwater and tried to swim up for air but the woman grabbed his ankle and dragged him down. Jack knew this was the end of his life. He is going to die. The woman grabbed Jack’s head and hummed him a lullaby. As jack listened to her tune, he became relaxed and smiled, slowly closing his eyes and accepting his death. The woman then smiled and her eyes turned white and dead. She screamed at Jack’s dead face and showed a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth. She sunk those teeth in Jacks’s chest, taking out his heart with one bite and she ate his heart like it was the best thing she has ever eaten. And with every bite, this woman turned undead, revealing a beautiful pale body and black hair, blue eyes and only a scar left on her cheek. After she finished his heart, the woman swam up to the boat and flipped it back over, climbing onto it. She sighed as she sat down, missing only one ore. She licked Jack’s blood from her mouth and twirled her wet hair. “That was delicious.” She said and extended her arm out to the right. Her arm unnaturally stretched out into the form of ore and she paddled the boat through the stormy sea.
