Scary doll returns

Isabella comes to life

By Obaid AlviPublished 3 years ago 3 min read

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Emily who loved dolls. She had a collection of various dolls, but her favorite was a porcelain doll named Isabella. Emily's parents had found the doll at an antique store and gave it to her as a gift on her seventh birthday. Isabella had long curly blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and a frilly white dress. Emily loved to play with her, and Isabella quickly became her constant companion.

However, strange things began to happen in the house after Isabella arrived. At first, it was small things like doors opening and closing on their own, and objects moving inexplicably. Emily's parents dismissed it as their imagination, but soon the activity became more intense.

One night, Emily's parents heard a loud crash in Emily's room. They ran upstairs to find that Isabella had fallen from the shelf and shattered into pieces. Emily was inconsolable and cried for days. Her parents decided to replace the doll, but they couldn't find another one like Isabella.

Finally, they found a doll that looked almost identical to Isabella at an old toy shop. The doll had the same curly blonde hair and bright blue eyes, but something about it felt off. Emily didn't seem to notice the difference and was happy to have a new doll to play with.

However, the strange activity in the house only intensified after the new doll arrived. Emily's parents began to hear whispers in the middle of the night and footsteps in the hallway. They even started to see shadows moving across the walls.

One day, Emily's parents came home to find all of Emily's other dolls had been arranged in a circle around the new doll. The dolls' heads were all turned towards the new doll, as if they were paying homage to it.

Things only got worse from there. Emily began to act strange, talking to the new doll as if it were alive. She would have long conversations with it, often giggling at something it said. Emily's parents became increasingly worried about their daughter's behavior, but they didn't know what to do.

One night, Emily's parents woke up to find their daughter's room filled with an eerie blue light. They heard Emily talking to the new doll, but her voice was deep and sinister. They tried to open the door, but it was locked from the inside.

They could hear Emily's voice getting louder and more aggressive. Suddenly, the blue light went out, and they heard a loud crash. When they finally managed to break into the room, they found Emily lying on the floor, surrounded by broken glass.

The new doll was standing on the shelf, looking down at them with its cold, dead eyes. Emily's parents took the doll and threw it in the trash, hoping that would be the end of it. But the strange activity in the house continued, even after they moved to a new house.

Years later, Emily's parents returned to their old house to clean it out before selling it. As they were going through Emily's old room, they found the new doll sitting in the corner. Its porcelain face was cracked, and its dress was torn and dirty.

As they picked up the doll, they heard a voice whisper in their ear, "You shouldn't have thrown me away." The doll's eyes opened, and they saw a glimpse of something sinister lurking behind them. Emily's parents quickly threw the doll in a box and took it to a nearby river, where they threw it in the water and watched as it sank to the bottom.

But even now, years later, they sometimes hear a faint whisper in the middle of the night. They know it's the doll, still haunting them from the depths of the river. And they wonder if they will ever be truly free from its
