Scare Package is a phenomenal anthology film series that features fantastic gore and hilarious characters that endure a number of insane horror scenarios as they each struggle to survive.

I couldn’t stop laughing in so many scenes, the characters always seem so nonchalant in the stories when it comes to the situations, and the twist in some of these stories were so original!

Here is my personal ranking of all of these stories:

7. Girls Night Out of Body

Three girls decide to steal a skeleton lollipop from a convenience store, and come to the realization that the lollipop is cursed. Whoever licks the candy receives a permanent skeleton face.

Luckily, the girls were able to avoid a horrible fate from a serial killer that was stalking them throughout the mini film. They kill him and party.

What a wholesome night among friends.

6. Cold Open

This is by far the most random entry in the film. The story follows a guy named Mike that is tired of being a random background horror character that is hired to bring harm to everyone in every horror movie.

He tries to save everyone this time in the next horror film he appears in, but instead he accidentally kills them. The film then ends with a fourth wall break, revealing this short to actually be a script written by Mike.

This one was definitely pretty out there, but it was funny as hell when it came to Mike trying so hard to save everyone. It was great!

5. M.I.S.T.E.R

A husband appears to be in a struggling marriage with his wife. He decides to attend a meeting with crazy men that are absolute idiots. He is invited to another meeting, to see if he has the strength to ‘be a man.’

The husband learns that the group of men are actually werewolves. The husband then takes out a bunch of weapons and kills all of the wolves. Then he returns back to his wife, where he gets ready for a cult ritual.

This story had two great twists, and I thought it worked so well!

4. So Much to Do

A woman is possessed and fights the spirit to regain back her body. What follows is an over-the-top fight that had me laughing my ass off the whole time. The woman eventually wins, getting back her body.

I lost it when it was revealed that she actually beat up herself to get her body back. That was one strong woman!

The story also has one of the best endings out of the entries in this one!

3. The Night He Came Back Again! Part IV: The Final Kill

This story was original as hell. The story follows the final girl and her group of friends who finally catch the serial killer that has been tormenting them for a long time.

They struggle to permanently put the killer down for good, and the final girl ends up losing several more of her friends at the killer’s hands.

She then pulls out a shotgun to hopefully put him down for good…but hesitates because the killer is actually hot. Her attraction to the killer gets another one of her friends killed.

This part killed me.

Then she is able to move past her attraction to the killer, and puts him in a woodchipper, and before he dies, he reveals to her that he is actually her brother.

What?

Now that is a plot twist!

2. One Time in the Woods

This story was absolutely on a different level when it came to the gore. A group of friends run into a monster that begs them to kill him with silver.

One of the group members handcuffs the monster, stopping him mid transformation. Then there is a crazy plot twist, one of the friends from the group is actually a serial killer, with unbelievable strength.

The final girl survives, and she beats the killer. She attempts to help the monster, but she accidentally becomes infected with the same infection, leading to the same transformation.

She handcuffs herself to the monster, and they get into a hilarious banter before the film ends.

This story was beyond random, but every single moment really paid off!

1. Rad Chad’s Horror Emporium

The best for last entry has to be the main storyline featured in the film.

Rad is the owner of a movie blockbuster, who is caught in a serial killer experiment, placed in a horror movie scenario with other people who Rad recognizes as horror movie character tropes.

The serial killer escapes from the scientists in the lab, and murders every scientist. The killer then goes after the main cast, and it is up to the group to try and survive.

Everyone dies in order through the horror movie trope rules, and then Rad even gives up his life to save the final girl and the stoner. The final girl is obviously the last survivor, and she escapes from the lab.

She runs into Mike from Cold Open, and he saves her by blowing up the serial killer.

Don’t you just love happy endings?

Scare Package needs to be watched by every horror fan. It’s like awesome fan service, with great gore effects and hilarious horror tropes that every fan will love!
